20.01.2022 Just a little frosty! Cradle Mountain as perhaps few people see it. The craggy western face totally caked in snow. @other_strange_creatures / Nick Clark

19.01.2022 Looking back on a snowy Cradle Mountain scene with standing pandani below its dolerite spires. Walking the Overland Track is amazing any time of year, and it takes on another level in the snow. @katie_on_a_journey via #taswalkingco on IG

17.01.2022 The Trigger Plant (Stylidium species) in flower is quite a stunning sight. These plants get their name from the unique way they pollinate. Inside the flower there is a 'trigger' which when disturbed by an insect snaps forward, releasing its pollen. They can be seen flowering on the Three Capes Track from spring to summer. #taswalkingco

13.01.2022 A Pandani plant (Richea pandanifolia) surrounded by Richea scoparia. Both are native heath plants endemic to Tasmania, and the Pandani is actually the largest heath plant in the world. In the background is the vivid orange hues of the deciduous beech tree known as 'Fagus'. So much can be taken in from the simplest scenes on the Overland Track. #cradlehuts @gary_tischer via #taswalkingco

08.01.2022 The challenge to be present and mindful, is made difficult by hectic schedules. We can struggle to find time to pause and take in what we see. We miss out on opportunities to connect to a place and share profound experiences. The Three Capes Lodge ‘Art’ Walk with Julie Payne is more than ticking a bucket list item. It is a chance to deeply immerse yourself in one of the world’s beautiful places. It is a chance for a profound connection that you can share. https://taswlk.co/Julie_Payne #tasmania #hiking #art
