23.01.2022 Here's a little pictorial story that tells just how unprofessional and slovenly our council has become. Crew turned up to remove weeds from median strip around intersection signage. First the area was whipper-snipped, then a leaf blower was used to clear the mown foliage on to the roadway intersection, then the denuded area was sprayed with (presumably) weed killer, and then .... while we waited for them to clean up the extensive amount of clippings onto the truck .... they left. The clippings stayed where they were left, just above three storm water drain inlets. That is, until a day or so later when a storm came through. The clippings are now in the stormwater drain ... you know, those waterways that get so clogged by unthinking ratepayers. Totally unprofessional ... and stupid.

17.01.2022 Hi magpie, Took these from the passenger seat driving along Ross river road on New Year’s Day. The unkempt long grass was an eyesore from Anne st to Rising Sun lights as well as the sorry looking elderly golden cane stumps. (These could be the palm trees mentioned by Mangrove Jack as being removed recently. )

15.01.2022 Footpath in Palmer Street opposite Metropole backpackers resort. This footpayh is used by tourists who walk into the city from cruise ships (and there are heaps that do). It has been like this for two months.

15.01.2022 $4M+ upgrade to Charles Moroney Park last year and the irrigation hasn't been set up properly and more than half of the planted adult trees have been left to die.

06.01.2022 Taken early morning 14th September on Herveys Range road. A bush fire had jumped the road on 10th Sept heading toward the dump so the road verges were was finally cut. It is supposed to be slashed to the fence line- but notice the meter high grass left around the power lines !

04.01.2022 This fallen steel bollard fence on bikeway at Marabou Drive, Annandale has been like this nfor more than two and a half years, so can't blame the floods..

03.01.2022 Concrete footpath on Banfield Drive. I have been complaining about this for over a year. Council are aware of it as they've painted it to alert pedestrians the raised concrete is a tripping hazard.

02.01.2022 These two vehicles have sat in this position in Welsch Street, Rosslea since February 2019. Interesting to note that TCC has mown grass around vehicles on a number of times since February 2019.

02.01.2022 The laneway off Stokes St behind the former Westpac Bank in Flinders St. Getting more overgrown by the day. Also on display appear to be large pieces of what is now very wet cardboard packaging, which occasionally float into Stokes St as the rains get heavier. Great breeding ground for vermin, rats, mice cockies etc.

01.01.2022 Paige Turner (well that's she she/he says the name is, which is shared by a famous American drag queen) writes: This is a photo of the vomit in front of the entrance to the Kebab shop next to Rambutan, it has been there from last Sunday the only thing thats changed is the stray cats have eaten all the vomit, the council contract scrubber has never been down that end of the street, the other photo is were people piss and shit next in fire escape for those shops at Rambutan, plus the smell from the drain in front of Stones throw is appalling how people sit outside having meals and coffee beats me.
