16.01.2022 Do you get to say where your vehicle is going to be repaired ? Unfortunately, a number of Insurance Companies have removed or are removing choice of repairer all together. Or they are hiding the option in their PDS (which Let's be honest, most people do not read).... AAMI,APIA,RACV,Coles and others have changed their policies. if you are at fault in an accident, unless you have ticked the extremely small box on your renewal , you will automatically be forced to have your vehicle repaired at one of their shops. By having choice of repairer ,you are able to bring your vehicle to your trusted repairer , not some cost controlled Insurance shop. Don.t be dictated to by an Insurance Company, Know your rights. if you don.t have the choice,make the change today. See more
