17.01.2022 Tatura Primary School Students, Families and Friends, With Victoria in various states of lockdown we thought we might have a bit of a challenge which is not only fun, but it also gets us out and about. Have you heard of Strava Lockdown Art? (Google it to see some inspiration).... Strava is an app which can track your exercise think walk/run/cycle/skate. People have been very creative bringing some fun and laughter to their current situation. We are throwing out the challenge for Tatura Primary School families and friends to do their own Stava Lockdown Art (using Strava or a similar app). So why not get out and about, exploring our streets and parks these school holidays. Remember to upload your Strava Art to our Facebook Page! Here are a few examples for you.

06.01.2022 Good evening everyone. I am sure you have heard the messages from the Premier. We know that tomorrow (Monday 3rd August)will be a normal school day and then Tuesday 4th August will be a Pupil Free Day as we prepare to transition back to Remote Learning. I am awaiting further information from DET and will pass it on as soon as I get it. Most importantly, stay safe, healthy and look after each other. Susanne Gill.

04.01.2022 Wearing of Face Masks As of Monday 3 August all staff at TPS will be required to wear face coverings when at school. They are not required to wear face coverings when teaching. It will be an expectation that parents wear a face covering when coming into the office or waiting outside their car at drop off or pick up times. All primary school students ARE NOT required to wear face coverings irrespective of age.

04.01.2022 In Foundation, our students had a 15 minute challenge, working in teams to build a Lego structure, which would hold the most unifix blocks. The teams discussed their plan and had an opportunity to ask any clarifying questions. Then they were at it! Frantically building and redesigning everyone was engaged and working their hardest. Discussions involving height and width were informative and encouraged students to rethink their plans. Well done for the wonderful participation and teamwork!

04.01.2022 As remote learning comes to an end, we would appreciate it if families could return loaned devices to school tomorrow (Friday 18 September) between 12 and 2pm. Please drop them off at the office. This means we will have them ready for students to use when we return to school Tuesday 6 October.
