24.01.2022 Cricket is coming...... Just not this week. Cricket Shepparton is working with council on when we can start training. Hopefully we will have some news next week about that. The plan at this stage, obviously it’s not locked in just yet, is as follows. ... Season start Oct 17th, with an 18 round One Day competition for all Grades. - There will be no Two Day cricket based on Cricket Victoria & Cricket Australia recommendations. - We will have two general BYE weekends, Melbourne Cup weekend and Australia Day weekend. - We have drawn Round 2 on Friday 23rd Oct, the AFL Grand Final Public holiday. Clubs can play on the Saturday if they both agree to change. - As Kookaburra have been closed and unable to manufacture cricket balls we may have to use unstamped cricket balls this season. Also, ALL games before Christmas will be played using red cricket balls and ALL games after Christmas will be played using white cricket balls. This has been requested by Kookaburra as they do not have enough white cricket balls to service all of Victoria playing One Day cricket. - We will have a final 6 in A, B & C Grade and a 3 round finals series. We will have a spare day (Sunday) for the GF if no result is achieved on the Saturday. - D & E Grade will have a final 4 and a 2 round finals series. We will have a spare day (Sunday) for the GF if no result is achieved on the Saturday. No news on junior cricket as yet but we expect that juniors will start the same weekend

21.01.2022 A Grade Captaincy News: A big congratulations to Jayden Armstrong who has been appointed A Grade Captain. Jayden has been a valued member of our club since coming across when he was a junior where he was also our Under 16’s captain. Since coming to TCC Jayden has flourished as a cricketer representing Northern Rivers and Cricket Shepparton on Melbourne Country Week. This is an awesome achievement for Jayden and we’re sure he’s going to do a fantastic job with the youth at our club. Bring on season 2020/21

20.01.2022 Generous Donation A big thankyou to one of our former players and Life Member. On behalf of his family he has donated $500 to the club to be spent on junior cricket equipment. As equipment cannot be shared this year due to COVID rules he was concerned it may prevent children from playing cricket and wanted to ensure that didn't happen. Thanks very much.
20.01.2022 The club has been successful in gaining a grant from the the Greater Shepparton Council to make improvements to the practice nets. A permanent net will be built across the back and side of the nets. The internal pull out nets will also be replaced with new nets.
20.01.2022 Two Major Milestones this game David Miller 300 senior games Glenn Walker 250 senior games... Dave becomes just the third player in club history to play 300 games. This includes 170 A grade games which is the third highest behind Peter Watt and Rod Kilmartin Glenn’s milestone makes him just the fifth player to break 250 games and includes 131 A grade games. Only 9 others have played over 100 A grade games Both milestones are major achievements, well done !!
