23.01.2022 Our Taught and Bowled cricket coaching programs are starting to get back up and running now that restrictions are being lifted. It is looking increasingly as though cricket competitions will start in October as per normal so Term 3 is a great time to gear up for the coming season. We have two programs coming up:... Winter Player Development Program The program includes the following: - An initial skill testing and video-taping session - A one-on-one sit down meeting with coach, player and parent(s) about your game - Cricket training sessions held weekly during Term 3 There are three streams players can choose from: - Batting and fast/medium bowling - Batting and spin bowling - Batting and wicket keeping https://taughtandbowled.com.au//winter-player-development/ Individual Coaching The off-season is the perfect opportunity for players to invest time into their own game, to add new skills and to provide a strong foundation for the season ahead. Individual coaching sessions are offered after school on weeknights. 14.01.2022 Our Junior Blasters programs start again soon! Junior Blasters is an introductory program for boys and girls in Reception and Year 1. The program involves an introduction to the basic skills of cricket catching, throwing, batting, bowling plus some fun cricket games. Taught and Bowled runs programs at Marryatville, Burnside, Trinity Gardens, Pembroke, Highgate, Linden Park, East Adelaide and Unley.... 13.01.2022 Taught and Bowled will be running a preseason cricket clinic at Aldgate Oval during the October school holidays. The clinic will be held on Sunday October 13 with players receiving two hours of cricket coaching. There will be two age groups available with a morning session for younger cricketers and an afternoon session for older cricketers.... The sessions will involve games, batting and bowling skills, competitive net sessions and fielding activities. This is the perfect chance to pick up some new skills, have some fun and to prepare for an exciting season of cricket. 12.01.2022 Well done to all the cricketers who participated in the Taught and Bowled cricket camp last week. Some terrific skills on display and plenty of enthusiasm! Early in the week the players had a session on the Spirit of Cricket, sportsmanship and how to be a supportive team mate. In our final game one of our youngest players Fred took a match-winning 3/5. It was great to see his team mates share in his success and help make this a special moment for him (it was also his birthday...!) Taught and Bowled runs coaching programs throughout the year.
