25.01.2022 We are well and truly on the down hill run for the yearling sales. Drew, Anya and I had a little race on our parade day. Drew won, we keep being reminded. You don't have to be on a race horse or be a jockey to enjoy the thrill of racing!
25.01.2022 Kent with Taunton Vale Shimmer and Calimero Our old horse Genie who Anya was riding gave us all the signs she was ready for retirement. So I thought it time for Pierro to start a new phase of his life as a kids horse. Off to Murray Vets he went for collection. We have plenty of semen for any one who would like one of these little wonders. Then we test bred Venus Ebony and she was inseminated on the 1st of May the first anniversary of Kent’s death. Of course it had to be, she is in foal. Now Pierro is booked in to have the snip on Wednesday. I am sure Kent will be happy with the kids riding him and having fun. We often talked about this day. So lucky to have the best of both worlds.
