07.01.2022 Tava’esina is a rare bird which is mainly sighted in Tutuila and are distinctive with their long white tails. According to Samoan myths, The Tava’esina is known to be dim-witted and lazy, when they are quite intelligent living through their disproportionate sizing. We saw ourselves as Tava’esina living in Sydney Australia, as being Polynesian meant we had a reputation of only succeeding through athleticism and not academics. For fun we are labelled as coconuts some referr...ing to not being academically bright, but we view it as having strength/ hardness on the outside and a soft heart full of love to serve others on the inside.
