02.01.2022 Some handy tax tips for teachers! Tag in a teacher you know!

02.01.2022 Gifts & donations can be a great deduction on your tax return. A deductible gift recipient (DGR) is an organisation or fund that can receive tax deductible gifts. Not all charities are DGR - for example, most crowdfunding campaigns aren't. The money must truly be a gift or donation that is, you are voluntarily transferring money or property without receiving, or expecting to receive, any material benefit or advantage in return. A material benefit is an item that has a mon...etary value. The gift or donation must be of money or property. This can include financial assets such as shares. The gift or donation must comply with any relevant gift conditions. For some DGRs, the income tax law adds extra conditions affecting types of deductible gifts they can receive. For more info contact us & we'll let you know if the donation you've made can be included in your return or if the organisation you're thinking of donating to in the future is eligible.

01.01.2022 Life is still looking good here in the West! A big win by the West Coast Eagles over the weekend making it even sweeter! ;)
