09.01.2022 On your bike Swan Hill Police in conjunction with the Swan Hill Rural City Council are proud to announce that Victoria Police bicycle patrols are comm...encing across the Swan Hill Shire. Bicycle patrols will provide a visible police presence for the residents in this wonderful community and allow for greater interaction between the community and the police. The patrol area will cover the four council wards, from Lake Boga to Robinvale, concentrating on holiday areas, CBD’s and attendance at special events. We would like to thank the Swan Hill Rural City Council for sharing the set up costs with us, and Swan Hill Bikes & Trikes for the great local pricing and service provided when purchasing our bikes. Police Officers have attended special training and will be wearing specialised uniforms for their patrols. If an arrest needs to be made the officers will not be ‘dinking anybody back to the station’, a patrol car will transport any offenders back to the station. Say hi or give a wave when you see our officers on the roads
