Having a healthy training schedule is so important as it is so easy to over train which will have negative effects your body and health status. To maintain a healthy training lifestyle make sure you: Eat a well balanced diet - Eating a well-balanced diet can help you get the calori...es and nutrients you need to fuel your daily activities, including regular exercise. When it comes to eating foods to fuel your exercise performance, it's not as simple as choosing vegetables over doughnuts. Eat a variety of nutrient-rich foods. Your daily food selection should include bread and other whole-grain products; fruits; vegetables; dairy products; and meat, poultry, fish and other protein foods. Drink plenty of water (especially when your training) - You should be drinking at least 2-4Ltrs a day, Good hydration means getting the right amount of water before, during, and after exercise. Water regulates your body temperature and lubricates your joints. It helps transport nutrients to give you energy and keep you healthy. If you're not hydrated, your body can't perform at its highest level. Get enough sleep - Every adults sleep pattens are different so 7-10hrs sleep is recommended as physical activity puts more demand on muscles and tissues, and the body repairs itself during slumber. Sleep not only helps your body recover, it's also a surefire performance booster. Have Rest Days - It’s so important to take a rest from training (these are rest days) on these days you should Stretch and Foam Roll any muscles that feel tight; Rest days help give your body time to recover.
