25.01.2022 Finally time to call it a night (morning? I don’t know it’s 4am, I’m tired) BUT! Means lots of masks ready to head to their new homes today!



21.01.2022 Hi all, it is with a very heavy heart I have to make this post- Showing up at my door and becoming aggressive with me, especially on a weekend is not okay. Miscommunications happen, I understand, but coming up to my door and yelling at me is not okay. It’s 4pm and I was chilling out trying to manage my pain, hooked up to a little device when I got told that everyone would be warned about me. I’m not stealing your money. I’m making your masks. I’m trying to keep you safe. My ...mental health should not be at risk while I try to do so. I have several hundred masks to make and will EXPLICITLY tell you when your order is complete. Please remember I am a person to. I am 21, I have two chronic health conditions and on Tuesday was also informed a recent test I had has come back as what appears to be pre-cancerous. I am stressed. I am doing my absolute best and it breaks my heart that I’m out here making hundreds of masks a week- up from 8am to 4am to try and maximise my time to be treated this way. I can’t help what number you are in the queue, just like any other business I am responsible for only what I can control. You wouldn’t message Kmart saying you needed it this week but sorry you only ordered last week. I am trying so hard. I am sewing so many masks and I am honestly doing my best to get them to everyone on time for restrictions AND manage messages AND do deliveries AND get supplies.

08.01.2022 Another big order for a local medical centre! I love that so many are supporting local! To all my individuals ordering- please understand this is a big reason for the wait- not all orders are 2/3 masks- there are quite a few for 20+ There are hundreds of messages I’m trying to keep up with and honestly- when I’m spending 8-10+ hours of my day sewing it is hard to keep updating you all! I really am doing my best!

I’m getting back to you all as soon as I can but please bear with me, I’m not talented enough to sew and message at the same time (yet... yet.) but I’m doing my best to work through your orders. I’m doing some hectic hours to try and keep up because, for those of you yet to receive your orders will be unaware, I struggle with chronic pain. I’m suffering with both endometriosis and a misbehaving gallbladder at the moment. 02.01.2022 So due to some unforeseen circumstances, I’m actually on my way into hospital (nothing COVID related) so just wanted to let everyone know that our communications will probably slow up for at least a few hours. I should be back at it sewing everyone’s masks again by the morning though so keep those fingers crossed for me! Taylah

02.01.2022 Just making a post to again keep you guys in the loop: Those of you being asked to order online that have already messaged an order- your spot in the line remains the same we have kept the original list, it’s just that ordering online makes it easier to manage payments, speeds up production (both because we spend less time responding to messages and because I can pick up a print out that lists everything I’ll need to sew) and so we can provide better invoices, especially for the businesses placing orders So please don’t stress! You aren’t being shoved to the back of the line Taylah (Pickles is the expert, apparently hiding in the box for an hour gave him the knowledge to help us work out how to get the printer to, ya know, actually print)

01.01.2022 Hello my lovelies!! I’m making this post to announce a few things! First of all an introduction~ Hey! I’m Taylah and I accidentally started a business it’s just me over here with my little NS50 sewing machine- my fiancé Dylan helps prep fabric sometimes cutting it to size etc but I’m the only one sewing life has been crazy over here and most of the time it’s amazing! You amazing supporters are helping fund some much needed medical procedures I would otherwise be waiting... upwards of 24 months for and I honestly can’t thank you enough. Over here in our little unit, we love making sure you are all safe and the best way we can do that is make masks that 1) meet all the government guidelines and 2) people will actually wear. We don’t promote something we wouldn’t use and both Dylan and I get around in our masks to collect all the necessary materials. Now onto the stuff you guys actually care about: I WONT BE ANSWERING MESSAGES TOMORROW. I’m a person, I’m overwhelmed by some bad news I got today and I need to step away from you beautiful souls for a little minute. I’ll still be fulfilling orders and I’ll continue to sew (probably even more efficiently because I won’t be stopping to answer people) and spend some quality time with Dylan because to be honest? I haven’t stopped. I work every day and some hella crazy hours to try and ensure the best turn around time- there are so many of you all and each and every one of you and your families matters to me, so please rest assured I’m working as quickly as possible! 2) I do triage some orders. I try my hardest to ensure healthcare workers get masks as quickly as humanly possible and sometimes they will get squeezed in while I complete other orders. But- so do all of you too! We work with a list however I try to sew in even batches of about 40-50 at a time, so sometimes if I’m at 49- someone with a single mask will move up to make it a flat 50. 3) we will not be offering refunds for change of mind- namely because it’s taking longer than you expected. It’s just me over here- I’m not a big company so chances are I’ve gone out and purchased fabrics and materials with your order in mind, they’re cut to size nearly immediately after your order is placed and then it waits for you. I sadly can’t afford to refund you for a change of mind, not only financially but the materials are very hard to find at the moment, so wasting some isn’t an option. Don’t get me wrong, if a size is wrong or a product is defective- you will be offered either a refund or remake. I understand things happen sometimes and will certainly be reasonable however I have been left high and dry a couple times now resulting in others missing out- it isn’t fair on them or on me. Otherwise- thank you so much for all your support, you all really do mean so much to this little accidental business stay safe, please be patient and I hope to see you all (from a safe, 1.5m distance ) soon Taylah
