24.01.2022 Was changing a basin mixer tap at a customer's house this morning when we thought we should check the other mixers as well. Good thing we did. This is an example of a kitchen sink mixer that is ready to blow in 3 places. Fortunate timing also as they had recently been away on holidays.

19.01.2022 Sometimes this happens. Over time, a hot water pipe will rub against timber and develop a weep which, in turn, rots the surrounding timbers. The suspect area was cut out and replaced. Spacers that also act as absorbers are the solution. A little silicone holds them in place. A carpenter/builder will have to decide on what timbers to replace and how. ... If you suspect something like this is happening with yours, call me and we can investigate the situation. It's possible that this can be achieved non-intrusively using the thermal camera. 07.01.2022 Today's mission was to clean off the back of my late Father's truck in preparation for sale. Phase 1 complete. The two boxes to go.

07.01.2022 Stormwater drain unblocked! The bricks are there because I was standing on them. Not taking my boots off in case there's crocs. One delighted customer who's a/c and nearby pool equipment is no longer in any danger. Happy to help out if you spot a drain that is not doing its job.

06.01.2022 Recent upgrades of a main and ensuite bathrooms. The led lighting adds a nice touch. The ensuite toilet has one of those clever bidette toilet seats.

04.01.2022 Glad this issue was spotted while dealing with a water hammer/groaning noise. Flexible water hoses are so much better nowadays. This is a disaster about to happen. Reminder - to check inside cabinets and under benches for the condition of these hoses. If in doubt, give me a call, I'll sort it out.

02.01.2022 New gas stove install for a customer who's had a WH for 18 years. New one, of the same brand, is now ready for service after a few mods to the supply setup. It's the work that you can't see that makes the new one possible. Great result and customer delighted.
