24.01.2022 Oh Daisy you are just so adorable! Thank you to the beautiful @brooke_kelaart for snapping and sharing this image with us! Daisy recently upgraded to her big girl room and its making me that more excited to get Ashtons room reno completed. Its going to be a slow journey as both Mitchell and I are swamped with work at the moment so have to make time to do it on the weekends. Lets hope we get it all done by the end of 2020 Now to decide which size wall tile to put in Ashtons room! Comment below with your suggestion!
24.01.2022 So its 2 days until fathers day and although I had got Mitchells presents organised, I havent got them wrapped or any plans for him for Sunday Take me back to 3 years ago and I would have ribbon on those wrapped presents and a hour by hour schedule written out. I cant believe how much we can change in such a short time. What type of person are you? Are you the very structured and organised person or the super chilled & go with the flow person? Or an awesome mixture of both...! I know there will be a few dads having the privilege of hanging some small wall tiles this weekend like the ones pictured here in @ashleejayinteriors home!
23.01.2022 So its the weekend right...So far I've smashed a block of chocolate, V, drank alcohol, handful of doritos, couple coffees and maybe 2 sips of water. 19.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all the wonderful daddies out there! Today we celebrated in such an unusual way - painting Ashtons room! Normally we surrounded by family, either one or both of our dads but instead we stayed home and worked on finishing Ashtons bedroom make over. Mitchell hates painting but he chose to spend his special day doing so, just one of the many reasons why we love and appreciate him so much!... I cant wait for next weekend to celebrate with my dad! So how did yall celebrate?
19.01.2022 Happy birthday to my Mumma. The lady who was the inspiration behind this business, the reason I picked up my first scrabble tile and created some magic. Today I skipped work (sorry guys), let the boys stay home from school and enjoy the day with our favourite person to celebrate her birthday! It was so nice to just be together, eat, drink, laugh and play. ... With the uncertainty the year has brought us, I felt like it was so important to be together as we never know when that opportunity will be taken from us again. 13.01.2022 The final addition to the font family, 'The Abby' A typewriter feel with a mix of thick and thin lines, looking so beautiful featured on our Large wall tiles. 13.01.2022 So we nearly had a home alone movie situation on our hands this afternoon! We did the usual parent thing where we annouce we need to go somewhere, 30 minutes before we need to leave. You know, giving them that time where they need to stop what they are doing, go to the toilet, eat that last minute snack, have a drink, find their shoes and get in the car. We ran around doing all those annoying things and so while the kids were in the car we did the final lock up. We jump in th...e car, buckle up, start the car and start to move. I had a quick glance back to check the kids and BAM, ones not there! Jaxon decided he needed to go to the toilet but didn't let us know! Luckily I jumped out and found him peacefully but it got me thinking, omg how far would we have gone without realising he wasn't with us! 12.01.2022 My husband is a legend, he works so hard! He wears so many hats, self employed carpenter, part time groundsman, soccer coach, husband, dad and if we can find any spare time, he is my tile cutting bitch. Its so rare he complains when I tell him we need more tiles, our stash just doesn't seem to keep up with the constant demand. But this weekend, it happened. He was tired, unmotivated and it was a real nag to get him out there to help me. I felt SO bad! But there is a reason wh...y, Its because of the key hole at the back of each tile. They are time consuming little buggers to create! The feedback ive received from customer, most arnt utilising the hole in the back with screws and are using removable options like @command velcro strips, double sided tape or even blue tac. SO, A change is most likely coming! Before the decision is officially made, head to my stories now and make your vote if the tiles should stay or go, or if we should add the option for you to choose on the website. 09.01.2022 I cant believe these words are coming out of my mouth, it actually hurts me to say it! Our beautiful 15x15 inch frames are officially out of stock. Covid 19 has been really tough on everyone for different reasons and for me, this has been my downfall. I cant say if they will ever make a return but im trying my best to find an alternative frame! So for now, goodbye my first love. ... You were the first frame I laid hands on and you were the reason this little business of mine began! Till next time See more
09.01.2022 Happy 1st Birthday Phoenix! Its here, your first birthday and I cant believe it. Just over a year ago your mummy and I began our journey together about a dream of mine. To watch a beautiful newborn grow next to my Taylor'd Name Frame. I wanted to document all the changes, from the snoozey newborn, to the smiley grins, to the sitting, the standing, the face changes, the height, all the while having our frame as the consistent piece to compare the changes back to.... And Phoenix and Shelby, you have nailed it! You brought my vision to light and im so sad our journey has come to and end. You will always remain apart of the fam though. 07.01.2022 When your a kid your asked, what do you want to be when you grow up? When I was 5 I remember I wanted to be a crane driver, but it had to be a pink crane. My dad even printed me a picture of the crane and I hung it on my wall. Fast forward to high school and the question comes around again. This time, I wanted to be a midwife. Did I study hard at school to achieve this? No! And today in the present, I get to create happiness everyday and there is no better feeling! 06.01.2022 Home - I won't be leaving you for the next 2-5 days as I nervously await my COVID test results. So over the weekend I began feeling unwell and today I decided to get myself and the kids tested because there are known cases in our community. The really unfortunate news is I have to cease all my orders until I receive the results as I could potentially contaminate my products. I am so sorry! I have emailed those who are waiting for the orders to be made and giving a PSA that t...he office is shut for the next few days Now let's talk about the rona test, have you had it done? 06.01.2022 Strong willed children!! Do you have 1, or 2 or god please done say more than 2!! Head to my stories to see what I had to endure this morning with my strong willed youngest son All I can say for days like this, thank god for unconditional love. I am sure this determination will take him to amazing places in the future and we BOTH will be able to laugh about days like today but right now in the present, I'm not a fan! Much to Mitchells disgust, we are watching the first ep of the Bachelor tonight. 05.01.2022 BUBBLE MONSTER Have you ever said a statement to your child and instantly regretted it? A few months ago, Jaxon was being, well Jaxon at bath time. Mitchell was on bath duty and noticed there was a heap of bubbles coming out of the waste drain and said to Jaxon in frustration "If you don't get in the bath now, the bubble monster will come and get you" while pointing to the drain. ... Well shit, if Mitchell knew the terror and phobia he would instill into Jaxon from those 2 words, he would of never muttered "bubble monster" Every night there is stalling, crying, sometimes hysterical screaming, shaking, must cover the drain with multiple objects and and constant reminding it was a JOKE and its not REAL. Tell me we are not alone and you've created an irrational fear with your child too? - DONT FORGET, Fathers day cut off is fast approaching, 23rd of August!

03.01.2022 GUESS WHAT! I worked on a brand new product today! I squeeled like a little school girl when it was finished and I saw it all come together.
