25.01.2022 Ben pulling his kayak over a tree after getting me over safely.
25.01.2022 DAY 7: HALFWAY!!! After our interview with NBN we had our partners Josh McWhirter and Gemma Bondi join us on the river. We each had a go in the double kayak and it was a great days paddling. No one went for any swims that werent on purpose. We even saved a couple who had come out of their canoe and become wedged under the trees. Now camping in Jerrys Plains. Tomorrow going halfway to Singleton. Keep those donations coming people if you can!
24.01.2022 A fan came down to say hello...
24.01.2022 DAY 12: What a s**t of a day! Weve now dragged the kayaks for about 50km! Fun! We nearly stepped on snakes, attacked by killer fish (see photos) and there was no bloody water. Finally found some water and the tide was going in the wrong direction. Oh and then the wind came up, it was awesome! Another 30km day and have made it to Maitland. But on the plus side we are only $1,500 away from reaching our target of $25,000. So if youve been waiting to donate, now is the time to do it. Only three days and well be done! After today, we cant wait!!!

22.01.2022 DAY 8: (Saturday) Super tough day with lots of wind, dust and even a bit of rain. Travelled 38km after 8.5 hours on the water. Was amazing to see how drastically the water level dropped after we went past the power station pumps so were doing a bit of kayak dragging. Were now halfway to Singleton and will go the rest of the way on Day 9.
22.01.2022 We found water. But its going the wrong way! Gotta love tides. Not far til Maitland.

13.01.2022 DAY 13: 26km from Maitland to Raymond Terrace with a morning tea break in Morpeth. Hard slog going into the tides for most of it but got there in good time. Thanks to Mark Bretag and Cheryl Bretag from Newy Paddlers who came down to welcome us to Raymond Terrace and took some great shots of us.
13.01.2022 The guys from Newy Paddlers were instrumental when we did our Taylor Maiden Voyage last year. They offered helpful advice, provided us with kayaks and the most wonderful support. They now need out support to help them win a grant for their club from City of Newcastle. Please help us support the club by following the instructions provided below and vote for their grant application. They are all legends and deserve this so much! Thanks!

02.01.2022 This October and November, Chris O'Brien Lifehouse is asking you to Be Brave to support patients with cancer. With options to skydive, shave your head, or pick your own challenge to Be Brave Your Way, finish off 2020 by raising vital funds to support the 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. This time last year, we were on our 450km voyage (more stupid than brave) and were so proud to raise more than $50K for Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. Will you be brave this year?
