They can even do sugar-free and vegan floss! ... Sweetcart was founded by Emily- Perth-girl, sweet-tooth and lover of a charming party. Emily’s career has taken her around the world and back again, where she has worked in marketing, worn through many high heels at many parties and all the while was studiously dedicated to the craft of sampling fairy floss everywhere she roamed. She has now landed back in Perth and is thrilled to bring her expertise in spun sugar and throwing a great soiree to her hometown. 22.01.2022 Does anyone else feel like this when they open their emails in the morning? Lets talk email marketing. I spend i reckon 15 minutes every morning trying to unsubscribe from stupid email marketing chains that over email. Im talking like an email a day if not more trying to sell me something. Dont get me wrong i am a HUGE fan if email marketing when its done correctly. I think its an awesome tool to engage with your client base and jump right into their hands or homes via ...their inbox to remind them you exist. But people please... think about your email campaign from the point of view of what would you like to see coming into your inbox. A few tips on how to create an effective email marketing campaign: * Get to know your audience or divide your audience up personally based on age or demographic. This provides insight into what these customers actually want coming into their inbox, whether it be tips or information , a particular type of product over another type, details of an event thats appropriate and so on. This can be done through segmenting your email list and can be divided into a range of different categories to help target specifically rather than on a broad scale. * Quality over quantity WILL WIN - EVERY TIME! Focus on meaningful emails that breadcrumb your audience. An invitation to come in and try a new product. A useful bit of information that client can now use in day to day life. Make sure there is something in that email that your customer can take away or feel special about. * Send a BOMB welcome email. Welcome emails give you an opportunity to say hello, re-introduce yourself, and set expectations for what kind of email your recipients will be receiving from youand how often. * Welcome emails also provide the perfect opportunity to send subscribers to your preference center so they can adjust the frequency and type of email theyll be receiving from you. 14.01.2022 So sitting back and looking at why businesses actually need social media or why its important has got me thinking about what actually impacts a businesses success. I can confirm and Im sorry to say this but it is not social media presence. In the last week Ive analysed a variety of Perth businesses, that are brick and mortar businesses, that have been around since I was a kid What have they done and why they have been able to stay open in this society of online shopping, ...Uber eats being delivered to your door and well being able to book in pretty much any service on air-tasker you can think of. And what have I come up with? Human presence. A business owners presence or a damn good venue manager. Humans who are passionate about what they do or what they represent. Dont get me wrong Im not telling all of you to shut down your social media accounts, but I am saying that without this element of human presence how can you have an influential social media presence? So what does that mean for your social media marketing strategy? It means that its important to have a passionate human behind your account, creating conversations with your followers that goes over and above your basic marketing strategy. If youre going to use social media as a selling technique it needs to reflect who you are as a brand or what your company believes in from a human perspective. Imagine if you went to a restaurant and the food wasnt so great - however the service and the person who served you went over and above to ensure that even though that food wasnt up to standard, that you still left there feeling great and happy that you paid that money to sit in that restaurant. You would then give them another chance. The power of Human connection. So when thinking about how you mange your social media accounts or if you currently have someone doing it for you think is there that level of human behind your account or are you generating posts like a robot purely to sell or showcase what you do. Fun fact: On Instagram, pictures with human faces are 38 percent more likely to receive likes and 32 percent more likely to attract comments. Think about it ^^^
