12.01.2022 The new $50m open-air precinct, The Marketplace, is now open at Watergardens Town Centre. The first phase in QICGRE’s multi-stage evolution into a culturally relevant micro-city, The Marketplace is inspired by Melbourne’s famed produce markets and the rich cultural diversity of our local area. The second phase includes an upgrade of the centre's entertainment offering, with a new 86-room Quest aparthotel also due in 2021. The Marketplace is currently limiting entrance via the north-west doors (near Woolworths on the Melton Highway) and limits apply to the number of people inside in keeping with social distancing guidelines.
