05.01.2022 Leading into the first week of September, Taylors would like to highlight the upcoming month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is estimated that in 2017 alone, approximately 17,586 Women and 144 Men will be diagnosed with some form of Breast Cancer. 6.5% of these will lead to fatalities. Breast Cancer is the 2nd most common cause of cancer-related deaths among females. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in their lifetime and 8 women die fr...om Breast Cancer each day in Australia. From Monday, September 4th through to Friday, September 8th our crews will be wearing pink vests to show our support and raise awareness for this terrible disease that affects both men and women. We will be holding an in-house fundraiser for our employees and will be donating a percentage of all our invoices to the McGrath Foundation who help fund Breast Care Nurses around Australia, so that the affected families have the extra physical, psychological and emotional support they need, free of charge. This year National Mammography Day is Friday, October 20th and we encourage everyone to book an appointment to ensure you and your family can have peace of mind.
