As expected, trips are down somewhat on the previous year, due to the impacts of COVID-19, such as the lockdown halting all but essential travel and suspension of our beloved bus services. We are immensely proud, that despite the challenges, we have been able to safely meet our clients' transport needs during the pandemic..

24.01.2022 We are continuing to provide transport for essential medical appointments in Queensland during this immensely challenging time.

23.01.2022 Today is Judy Volz's last day at work. Judy commences her long service leave tomorrow, then plans to retire after 22 years with Community Transport. Judy, we will all miss you! Thankyou for your commitment and care to our clients, your co-workers and the hundreds of volunteers you have recruited and supported throughout your working life at Tweed Byron and Ballina Community Transport. All the best for a fabulous life ahead! TBBCT's newly appointed Tweed Service Administrator Tamara Moon, will step into the breach and maintain the high standard of customer care set by Judy. Welcome to your new role Tamara!

18.01.2022 TBBCT has 146 volunteers. We have volunteer drivers, shopping bus attendants, social bus coordinators, receptionists at the Kentwell Community Centre in Ballina and of course our management committee. This National Volunteers Week we thank and honour them all. Sadly, present circumstances mean we can't we can't get together for our usual Volunteers Week celebration. However, we note that these same circumstances have also highlighted exactly how important these volunteer roles are to the community. Feel free to comment below your appreciation or positive experiences with our volunteers

We've been using it regularly in all our vehicles to keep our team members and clients safe. We appreciate your community spirit (no pun intended). Thank you!
