23.01.2022 Masters of Education students at Uni Melb’s Graduate School of Education are trying out tbC member Damien’s Dice Drawing art activity today. Damien McIntyre has synesthesia-he sees in color. Discovering this in the tbC studio a few years ago led to a series of 2D, sound and digital artworks. Joseph, Jack and Anna talk and engage in dialogue with students re their experiences as artists and how collaborative arts practices empower them. Anna talks specifically about her experiences with the SCUM PUPS (tbCs original incarnation which began in 2008 and led into tbC around 2011). 15.01.2022 Dice Drawing is a practice inspired by tbCs Damien McIntyre - after discovering he has synesthesia and that he sees numbers in color. @unimelb Masters of Education students had a go at drawing one themselves. 12.01.2022 tbC is part of the Stencil Art Prize's wonderful 10 Year anniversary BOOK! (We were a finalist in the 2017 Stencil Art Prize). Buy an advance copy! The first Stencil Art Prize was in 2009 and featured 12 Australian stencil artists. Ten years later, the Prize now showcases upwards of 70 finalists from 20 or more countries. CUT is a history of the first 10 years of the Prize.

Deadly Fringe focuses on the arts and the increasing participation by, and representation of, First Nations artists and community. . Gunditjmara woman, Hayley Millar-Baker will be leading AN ASSEMBLAGE OF MEMORIES Workshop. FREE-Saturday 21 September, 11am to 3pm at... Woods Street Arts Space, 44 Woods Street, Laverton. Go to Melbourne Fringe website to book. This workshop is hands-on and open to anyone, from budding creative minds to established artists. Using found imagery collected from newspapers and magazines. Hayley will lead participants through cut-and-paste methods to construct a photographic assemblage of a childhood story (symbolic or literal).
