25.01.2022 The TBR crew are off! We are making the 6hr trip to Gilgandra speedway for the first time this season. Tyler is ready to cut some laps after having last weekend off due to not having the car ready and to save money for the weekends ahead. This weekend should be an awesome weekend with a big field of 15 junior sedans. 14.01.2022 Heat 2: started 2nd taking the checked flag in 1st. Heat 3 has been cancelled so Tyler will start off pole in the feature.
14.01.2022 The TBR crew made the 6hr trip to Grafton speedway to compete against 15 other RSA junior sedan drivers. The crew got up to Grafton on the Sunday and went to have a look at the different track as it was the crews first time at the Grafton speedway. Heat one: Tyler started off the back of the pack in the first heat giving Tyler no stress in getting his head around the circle like track. With being unsure on finishing position in heat one due to a transponder not working corr...ectly Tyler had a good heat getting to know the track. Heat two: Tyler started out of 9th position getting the jump off the start into 5th position on the flowing, tacky track ,grabbing onto 2nd position in the last lap. Heat three: shortly after heat 2 the track had some prep going on with the track getting ripped and watered as well as re-packing the track down , so heat three Tyler started off poll position getting the ticket out of there but not for long with Sam and Ryley on the chase for position 1. Tyler held onto his position finishing the race in position 1. Feature: Tyler doesn’t have too much to say about the feature race with an incident occurring on lap 5 with unfortunately seeing Sam Mooney going into a barrel roll before coming to a stop on the fence. Thankfully Sam is ok and the car is repairable but it was a frightening moment for all including Tyler with it all playing out a cars length away from Tyler’s bonnet but thankfully getting away with no contact to Mooney’s car or any surrounding cars. Unfortunately Tyler was sent to the rear of field but was later sent infield for not following Cheif steward’s directions. Most importantly All drivers were A ok and a good night racing with great competitors. Please be mindful of your comments, Thankyou. 12.01.2022 TBR made the trip to Castrol Edge Speedway for possibly the last race of the season. Hitting the road early Friday morning, half of the TBR crew started making their way to Lismore for the RSA Junior Sedan Australian Title. A long trip, making it to Lismore lakeside lodge motel with no hassle Friday night. Saturday morning TBR got prepared to head to the track with the rest of the crew flying in due to work commitments, it was time to get the show on the road. ... Track at the start of the night was looking good. First heat Tyler started out of position 6 finishing 2nd, the track was really tacky with one wet spot coming into turn1 with a bit of a different drive technique for the second heat Tyler had a game plan set. Second heat Tyler started out of pole position finishing with a dnf due to a bolt breaking,holding the steering hub on causing Tyler to clean up the wall twice damaging the whole right side of the car pushing the front and rear over. A big thank you to all that helped get the car fixed and back out there. Third heat Tyler started out of position 11 finishing 6th the track was starting to rut up but still a tacky track and a smooth run. Feature time Tyler was starting out of position 10, the dnf hurt us for points. With a big field of 23 Junior drivers it was going to be a hard gig to take out top 3 new stars. With a 20 laps feature it came down to survival of the fittest, luck and running some solid lines,Tyler made his way up to position 6 ,battling it out with position 5 to take out new star Aus1. Tyler finished in position 6 (new star Australian 2). The track wasn’t as rutty as what it has been but Tyler had conditioned himself to what he could expect. Tyler would like to thank all the spectators, officials and competitors and their teams, also all the RSA officials for running the night, a special thank you to Josh and Trevor Boyd, Chris Gardiner, Brock and Glen Armstrong, Owen Heynes and Monie Reed, Steve Burnham, Josh Goldie, Paul Smith , Mum and Dad and everyone that help out or guided Tyler in the right way. 10.01.2022 With a different approach to Motorsport last weekend having a ride on the new YZ to keep race fit for our new 2020-21 race season return. With sourcing some partnership with TBR ,we will soon look forward to a great car design and getting all kitted out by scorpion Racewear. TBR hopes everyone has kept well in the covid-19 and is returning to normality again after a long break.
08.01.2022 TBR made the trip up to Gilgandra speedway to compete against 11 other junior sedan drivers on Saturday night. With the car passed and ready to go, it was just a waiting game on the dummy grid while the track offical’s done some final prep’s on the track before the 1st round of heats. First heat Tyler started out of 5th position getting up to 2nd position. It was a heavy track with still abit of water in the track but the car sat on rails through out the heat. Second heat T...yler started out of 2nd position getting the jump and taking out 1st place for the heat the track was very tacky meaning Tyler could sit the car anywhere on the track and it again felt like it was on rails. Third heat unfortunately got cancel due to junior time curfew being 10:30pm Feature race, Tyler started 3rd in points taking the green flag and getting the jump into 2nd place. Due to a miss understanding Tyler was put back 2 positions.Thats racing!The #72 Corolla felt great all night & Tyler finished the feature in 5th place. The track started to get slick through the feature. Home & washed up ready for some maintenance & cosmetic repairs, ready for our next trip to Dubbo on the 5th December. 07.01.2022 Pulling the s72 out of self isolation in preparation of this weekends racing, what we thought was the end of the season, racing has now returned not to normal yet but racers given the chance to still turn laps after a long break. This weekend TBR are making the trip to Goulburn speedway for the first practice race back after covid-19. The s72 is back in action with TBR crew working to put it back together throughout this week. 01.01.2022 As I am sure you are all very well aware of the issues surrounding the lockdown at airports and shipping terminals, due to the latest crisis with the Corona Vi...rus or COVID-19. I just need all of my customers to know that there will be a delay in receiving orders. I have been in contact with my suppliers and they are still getting all orders completed and will be ready to send as soon as the government’s around the world open everything up again. So please this is completely out of my control. So orders/designs etc can still be done. Anything produced in Australia ( stickers, wraps, hero cards, posters DTG garments ) can still be sent for now. I would like to thank you all for the understanding within these trying times.
