30.05.2022 First of May. Where else would we rather be? No Where... but Day 2 of the 41st Bay to Bay trailable yacht race. Leaving Gary's Anchorage early with light winds ...and moody clouds..Every division delighted us with Kite starts.. Awesome! The fleet of kites filled the Great Sandy Straits as all the sailors merged at the White Cliffs.. Drizzle set in as we headed to the paddock, then finish line with Lambordini, skippered by David Lambordini, leading monos and Full Bore, skippered by Peter Hackett, leading the multihulls.. Super race everyone See more

10.01.2022 Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk MP will address the NSW covid outbreak and any further changes to Queensland's current border restrictions. #covid19 #7NEWS

09.01.2022 Sorry lateness of post, I was out off the office for a week and unable to process the message (JJ) From stand in handicapper Folks Lovely day out on the water last weekend with sunny skies, warm conditions and a 10 to 15 knot nor'easter in a flood tide. Races were sailed out on the northern course area with an excellent course setup by the crew on the start boat. The top mark off Carlo leads and and bottom mark just off the mouth of Snapper, a square run to gybe mark 2 and t...hen a long tight run to mark 3 with the incoming tide allowing some great rides planning under kites. Tricky day upwind with wind being fickle up the right side out of the tide whereas out in the middle the wind had much more pressure and consistency. In the dash to the start and the first outside race working the pressure up the middle paid big time whereas in the last race the wind became more consistent out to the right and finally paid dividends, especially for the Billy the Kid. Results are presented below. Well the AGM is gone and dusted with Peter Shaw taking over the reins as Commodore, congrats. On another note, Les Kearney is currently in dry dock awaiting a bypass at Prince Charles and we wish him a speedy recovery. Next race day is in two weeks time on 25th October 2020 Cheers K

09.01.2022 The way patrons provide contact details to businesses is changing in Queensland. In the next 72 hours, venues including pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes mus...t move to digital record keeping of patron contact details. Paper-based record keeping will no longer be accepted. If you are checking in at a venue, you must provide accurate name and contact details. It’s all about keeping Queenslanders safe. Proper contact tracing is critical in making sure we can get on top of COVID-19 outbreaks as quickly as possible. #covid19
