20.01.2022 The Country Club Hotel in Dalby Queensland, is preparing to re-open its doors soon and we are currently seeking a motivated Full-Time Head Chef to take the lead and build a catering team to drive this aspect of operations at the Hotel. To be successful in this role applicants will need: To hold relevant Trade qualifications, previous experience as a Head Chef working in a busy Hotel, Club or Restaurant The ability to supervise the activities of cooks, apprentices and assi...stants in a fast-paced environment Creating an enjoyable, positive working environment through professional leadership and a hands-on approach to the operation Sound knowledge of kitchen management, including purchasing orders and monitoring food, stock control and rostering Experience in menu creation and costings to deliver quality meals Previous function catering experience is also preferred To display good interpersonal communication skills and have an exceptional customer service standard and ability to thrive under pressure The skills and knowledge to adhere to Work, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene responsibilities, policies and procedures The ability to work closely with management to drive the catering business The flexibility and availability to work a 7-day roster with a variety of shifts (including splits) over days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays An attractive salary package is negotiable.
