20.01.2022 Our club had an exciting and entertaining great debate this week. Topic: That growing up is optional. Congratulations to the winners on the negative team, Heather, Anil, and Greg. Many thanks to the Adjudicator John, and affirmative team members Sue, Darryl, and Ian. We must do this again!

18.01.2022 Our very enthusiastic club member Heather was last night presented with the Outstanding Service to the District Recognition Award, by District 69 Program Quality Director (PQD) Mark. Very well-deserved Heather!

18.01.2022 Our club president Bevin is the first club member to complete a Pathways path! He was presented with a recognition certificate this week by our VPE Leigh-Anne. Great work Bevin!

13.01.2022 An amazing performance by Sue Lewellin of Townsville City Council Club today resulted in the Unstoppable Sue winning both contests: the International and the Humorous speeches. Super Sue will now represent the club and our Area in the Northern Division Conference. Go Sue!

07.01.2022 Congratulations to Bevin, the deserving winner of our club's Member's Choice award last night, for his panel discussion about the proposed Pallarenda Pier (move over Santa Monica!). Being presented by our Club Vice President Education (VPE) Leigh-Anne. Fantastic!

05.01.2022 An exciting and up-beat meeting last night, but with a tinge of sadness as we have lost one of our most enthusiastic members, Wilton, who is moving on and moving up in the army. We will miss his tireless enthusiasm and eagerness to help the club. All the very best for your future Wilton!

Great work everyone!

02.01.2022 After a very successful Toastmasters Area 2 on-line contest planned and run by the Townsville City Council club, the contest helpers were treated to a BBQ and gifts yesterday by the conference organiser, John McLean. Great gesture John! Many thanks to everyone involved.
