19.01.2022 We have been working our way through switching our fleet to Hybrid options where possible. The operation noise in the cab is a little to get used to, with the electrical system being most effective when slewing but overall has a positive effect not only on the business but the planet. Next year, with the seven 34T Komatsu Hybrid units in the fleet we will save around 42,000L of diesel and approximately 112T of CO2 emissions. One pipe install crew and one backfill crew, alternating two barrels at a time each side, with a culvert hump built to a maximum of 1500.
