06.01.2022 Update on the Workshop r31. Since competing in may last year at Drag challenge weekend 6cyl class. We thought that we would change it up abit for the 2020 seaso...n. We have since overhauled from front to back. In the front We have a 6.0l Ls with CP Bullet Pistons , Eagle Rods , ARP bolts throughout all in a factory alloy Block (Basic Setup). Thanks to Paul from Mad Engines for the quality Machine work and The team here at Miller engines and mechanical for putting it together. Strapped to the side we have a Gt47 with a rear housing of our choice. Thanks to Toowoomba Superior Turbos For the rebuild on the Turbo. From the exhaust manifolds to intake pipes to fitting it in with the rear sump Big Thankyou to Micks Metal craft for getting the amazing Fabrication work done Micky Gee. We have chose to run with the stock Intake manifold with Bosch 2200cc injectors to get things started to the front we have a 102mm throttle body and All alloy pipes and connected with plazmaman.com clamps. We have choseTurbosmart Gen5 60mm Gate , Fpr2000 Fuel Pressure reg and A 50mm Bov Big thanks to MTQ Brisbane for the hookup. Since we didnt have much luck with the previous ecu system. We have Chosen A full Haltech elite2500 with wide band , I/o expanded box , Ic7 Dashboard. Full safety and Data sensors have been chosen. Coolant pressure , Oil Pressure , Fuel Pressure , Torque convertor Pressure , Emap , External 5bar map sensor , 3port Mac valve , Gear position switch , Front wheel speed sensors and Rear Wheel speed , Fuel level sensors and Ign1a coil packs Big thanks To Matt at Haltech for the support. We had chosen to stay with the Powerglide transmission with TCE Torque Converter Engineering for Torque convertor Setup big thanks to Jason. Since we had upgraded everything else. We had to change the rear end. We chose to stay with the borgwarner Diff. Now with 31 spline billet axles and billet Diff Hat and a set of Shocks to suit our application with in mind that we may have to goto a 9inch diff later on. Big thanks to Adam Law For the full front to back rewire. As We draw closer to finishing the major over haul. We are keen to get back out and give it a hit.
