25.01.2022 First time weve seen the sun at The Basin. Terrific new installation of 54 Sunpower Solar Panels (17.55kW solar system) on a single storey metal roof mounting it parallel to the roof. 18 solar panels facing west, 18 solar panels facing northwest and 18 panels facing north east.

06.01.2022 Extraordinary! This massive 800ltr holding tank is part of the Stiebel Eltron WPL 25 hydronic heating unit. Designed to support in slab and trench heating along with the hot water for a roughly 220sqm home. Originally the unit was to incorporate the pool heating, but a seperate Heatseeker Vortex heat pump will be installed as heating during the shoulder season would have been suspended in favour of the pool heating. The compressor pics to follow on completion of the system..... Nick from Melbourne Hot Water has done a great job making this installation look as good as it does. How did he manage to get it into that space? Nick has worked with TCK Solar for almost 6 years and is our resident expert in the Stiebel Eltron equipment, he even works as support for Stiebel Eltron themselves! Great work Nick!

04.01.2022 A recent build site where we installed Sunpower Max3 solar panels. TCK Solar works with a number of architects and builders where we do the pre-wire work during construction, then install the panels once the roof is secured, and towards the end of the building process, we install the inverter/s and commission the system

Yesterday, the Victorian Government announced that it is introducing a new requirement that any solar systems installed under its Solar Homes Package must be purchased from a Clean Energy Council Approved Solar Retailer. 02.01.2022 Prior to stage 4 restrictions, our guys had a few days in our Coburg North warehouse doing some building works including digging foundations for a new extension. Its not "Wheres Wally?" but "Wheres Anthony?"
