21.01.2022 Australia is primarily a pastoral and agricultural activity-based country that leads the world in the production of wool. However, it also has an international reputation as a producer of gold and various metals and mineral products. In Australia, minerals have always been a part of the continent's culture and development since the first human habitation. They were used as a pigment in ancient rock art and body painting, an integral part of the Aborigines. Thus, mining in Aus...tralia also roots to the arrival of Aborigines some 40,000 years ago when they searched for stones suitable for making tools and weapons and dug for chromatic rocks for decorative uses. https://www.tclh.com.au/blog/the-history-of-mining . . . . #fifolife #fifo #hospitality #chef #camp #remotecamp #remotecatering #catering #campaustralia #cheflife #chefsinstagram #chefs #cateringservice #cateringaustralia #mining #miningaustralia #oilandgas #australia #westernaustralia #queensland #miningwa #miningindustry #fifoworker #meals #foodie #food #instagood #blog #blogpost #mining #historyofmining #miningblog

11.01.2022 TCLH has recently introduced its very own branded range of Biodegradable & Eco Friendly coffee cups, that are now distributed and used at all our sites. Did you know? Biodegradable & Eco Friendly coffee cups, use an inner lining derived from a type of plastic called 'PLA'. This is made from plant-derived products, such as sugarcane and corn starch. This makes the cups much easier to break down, and safer for humans and the environment.

05.01.2022 Our latest employee feature is Virginia Davy. Virginia has been with us for almost 5 months now as a Camp Attendant. An average day for her involves a variety of tasks, but she always manages to still have fun throughout her workday. The best part about her job is being able to make a difference. If she had to choose three words to describe TCLH it would have to be Optimistic, Professional and Friendly. When it comes to food, her favourite would have to be Passion Fruit Yoghurt. The best vacation that she has been on is Bali. We asked Virginia for her favourite quote and while her response gave us all a good giggle, we're not sure we can share it with the rest of you!
