15.01.2022 ***Development Application Outcome*** Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who has supported us through the journey. Like many riding locations, the road to approval hasn't been easy. Our outcome is that we can operate 4 days per year for events. Meaning our much loved Tamrookum Creek Enduro Festival and other events will be going ahead for the forseable future. ... However, these will be the only times our tracks can be ridden or raced by the public. With great disappointment, we have not been able to come to an agreement with council. After countless hours of hard work, lots of stress and a huge amount of energy we received a refusal notice on our application to open Tamrookum Creek Bike Park in January. This was due to Tamrookum Creek Road being deemed unsutable for any increased traffic load. This came as a surprise, as council was initially supportive of the application. Next we took this decision to the court of appeal. We hoped to come to an agreement with council to have a low maximum number of visitors to resolve the traffic issue. Unfortunately, council expected us to "upgrade" the road at our cost. So with great heart ache, we had to end the appeal. However, the dream is not dead. Tamrookum Creek Mountain Bike Park is not over. We will continue to bring you events and keep looking for opportunities from goverment funding and tourism grants to maybe one day make this dream a reality. We know this place is loved and has trails unlike any other in SEQ. We're not going anywhere.

14.01.2022 ****UPDATE**** Saturday Practice Shuttles!!! We will be running UNLIMITED shuttles for Saturday Practice between 8am - 2pm. PM to book. We have secured more shuttle vehicles and will have day passes available for $50 cash on the day. ... Pedal up practice starts from 7am. So come early, pedal up a few times then grab a shuttle. This will allow you enough time to comfortably practice every trail on Saturday. If you can't make Saturday, Friday is also a non-stop gravity day from 9am-5pm!
