09.01.2022 Our guys are currently at Wallerawang replacing 500 metres of 325 mm steel water main from Pipers Flat Road to Barton Avenue for Water NSW. In April 2020, it was identified there was a leak near the Wallerawang Road railway overbridge. Given the broken section of the pipeline is the means of supply to Lithgow villages from Lithgow City Council’s treatment plant at Oakey Park. The guys are on a tight schedule to have the replacement completed asap. Clear communication with Water NSW, John Holland and TCM for the coordination of replacing the pipe over the bridge will include train stoppages to ensure the safety of TCM and rail workers.

The negoiations with John Holland for the synchronisation with train timetables was exhausting but a great safe outcome was achieved. TCM worked with their client Water NSW and High Tech Rail Service to attain this excellent result.
