25.01.2022 Due to being horribly sick, I didnt get a chance to continue posting my fabulous students. This is Samuel! Dont let that innocent face fool you, hes a veteran of theatre already, with a recent credit as Frederick in Sound of Music. Despite hiccups (literally) he overcame his nerves and received a Highly Commended for 3rd place in his Traditional section.... Samuel also competed in Musical Theatre, and Contemporary scoring well in each. You can catch him in Goldilocks in Ickle Pickles production over the coming school holidays. Break a leg Sam!

23.01.2022 My personal official end of term is Monday evening, but yesterday's end of term barrage of information has left me with such pride as a teacher. I am so proud of how hard my students have worked this year. I am so proud that you're all kicking your respective goals. I am so proud to be a part of helping you all figure everything out and find a direction for your voices and instruments.... Bring on 2017 and another excellent year. And a special congratulations to the amazing students who made it into South Pacific and were notified yesterday, you all worked so hard!

21.01.2022 A few simple housekeeping rules for lessons: If I give you a lesson time and you show up early with nobody here that you can see, that doesnt mean I didnt have a student before you or another appointment, and it isnt license to show up 20 minutes early with no warning. Especially if it becomes a habit and youre suddenly turning up in someone elses lesson. Calling me or messaging me at 5 or 6am and getting angry when I dont respond immediately is frustrating for both of... us, it is very prominent that I work afternoons and evenings and am on a different schedule. Sunday is often my only day off, unless its an emergency or after a reasonable hour, try and refrain from work talk, I need to relax as much as I love my job. Messaging 10 minutes before a lesson or 20 minutes into a lesson to say youre not coming is incredibly inconvenient and if done multiple times in a row is rude, and will incur penalties, which many of you have been informed of. I know this seems like a lot, and while I try and keep lessons as relaxed as possible, there are still a few bits of etiquette that have been slipping in the last couple of months and I want to keep things as pleasant as possible for all students. Its a 10am start, but 9.45-9.50am arrival for performers.... Due to the high volume of students participating dont forget that its a limit of 5 family members/friends per student unless youve discussed it with me previously. 03.01.2022 As a lot of you know, from the end of Term 1 I will no longer be offering Saturday classes. I will endeavour to move who I can during the week for lessons, and provide a smooth transition to new teachers for those who cant move. Monday-Friday lessons will continue as normal, and monthly boot camps will continue to be held. The next Bootcamp being held will be Sunday 20th of March, as many of you already know.... Thank you to everyone for your patience, and sorry for any inconveniences.
