09.01.2022 Registrations are now open for our summer Debate Camp, to be held at Orana Guide Camp at Roches Beach from the 7th to the 10th of January 2021. The camp is open to students who will be in Grades 10 to 12 in the 2021 school year. Running for three and a half days, the schedule will include knowledge workshops, skills exercises, social events and several formal debates, providing a unique opportunity for students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to debate at a high... level and to collaborate with debaters from around the state. Experience with debating is not necessary, and all interested students are encouraged to participate. We will work with individual debaters at their own pace to ensure they get the most out of the program. The camp will be fully supervised by experienced adjudicators, all of whom hold current Working with Children Checks. The cost to participants will be $145, covering activities, food and accommodation for the duration of the camp. Financial support is available for students who cannot otherwise afford to attend.
