16.01.2022 UPDATE | This morning Gymnastics Australia announced the cancellation of the 2020 Australian National Championships due to the Coronavirus. In collaboration and... as a result, Gymnastics South Australia will not facilitate trials or competitions scheduled for March and April, 2020. (A full credit or refund will be provided.) After this time, we will reassess the need and capacity to facilitate additional events based on the current landscape. We will also be reviewing our other events for the year, including the timing of the 2020 Gymnastics SA State Championships. There has been no information to date, to suggest that gymnastics classes are mandated to cease. We encourage Clubs to continue to sanitize equipment as standard process. Where possible, hand sanitizing stations should be set up and participants are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer. We further reiterate that athletes, officials and parents that are unwell should not attend gymnastics activities and seek further advice from SA Health. In a time of uncertainty, Gymnastics South Australia stands by the safety, welfare and protection of not only all of our members, but further extended families, friends and the wider community at large. Our hearts go out to the athletes, officials, clubs and families who have been busy preparing and greatly looking forward to these events. We acknowledge their hard work, committment and passion for our great sport. We thank you for your support and understanding during this challenging time and we will continue to update the community when we have more information. READ MORE >> https://bit.ly/38HVHRb

14.01.2022 Dear members Upon reading the updated Emergency Management Direction (Public Activities No 12) (COVID-19) Direction 2020 it states that restricted public activities includes indoor or outdoor community sports fixtures and trainings. At this stage the gym will be remaining closed until further notice.... Stay safe - we hope to see you soon regards TTGG
13.01.2022 SUSPENSION OF ALL CLASSES In light of recent developments with the COVID-19 pandemic and in the interests of minimising the risk to our families and staff, we would like to advise that ALL CLASSES at our Main Gym and Banksia Park Primary School will be suspended effective immediately until further notice. As you can appreciate this is a rapidly changing environment and we will endeavour to keep all our families updated in a timely manner. We understand that this is disappoint...ing and the board are in the process of determining the financial impact / implication of this loss of service to our families. We have provided some links for our families that may need more information: https://headspace.org.au/ https://www.beyondblue.org.au/about-us/contact-us https://www.health.gov.au//coronavirus-covid-19-keep-that-

12.01.2022 Dear Members It is with great pleasure I write to advise that the Emergency Management (Public Activities No 14) (COVID-19) Direction 2020 states indoor sport (including sports training) is permitted as a defined public activity as long as we adhere to the requirements. This includes ... - 4m2 Density - 1.5m physical distancing - Hand hygiene - COVID Safe plan and approved contact tracing system and records - COVID Marshal All Trampoline/Tumbling, Men’s, and Women’s scheduled training can recommence from Tuesday pm. Please note the Direction states that the approved contact tracing system approved by the State Coordinator and that the use of a privately sourced or alternative electronic platform or system for capturing the contact details will not satisfy this requirement. As we have a COVID Safe plan we are legally required to have our QR code available in the Pergola area at the main venue and on the door of the Banksia Park Primary School Hall for scanning. To minimise having to keep additional records and due to the return to 4m2 density requirements we need to continue to have no parent viewing and request that guardians do not enter the gym. As most of our junior members do not have a phone to scan the SAGov QR code, we can satisfy the above requirement through our iClassPro system as it can be electronic rather than paper based. It would be appreciated if you printed your child’s iClassPro QR code to enable them to have easy entry to training. Any athletes with a phone will be required to scan the SAGov QR code upon entry in addition to the usual iClassPro check in process. We look forward to welcoming you all back from Tuesday 1st December. Regards TTGG
12.01.2022 Good luck to our MAG level 1 & 2 athletes competing this morning, and our level 3 & 4 athletes competing this afternoon.
