25.01.2022 We are currently filling vacancies in our Junior PreGym (3-4 years) and PreGym (4-5 years) classes!! These classes are structured classes where children are taught basic Gymnastics skills such as cartwheels, tumbling, rolls, landings and balancing as well as developing their confidence, coordination and social skills!! Tea Tree Gully Kindergym is the only KinderGym in the local Tea Tree Gully area that is affiliated with Gymnastics Australia.... Two accredited coaches per class. A parent or caregiver stays with their child to offer hands on assistance and direction when required. PreGym (4-5 years) times: Wednesday’s 1:15-2:15 Friday’s 1:00-2:00 & 2:00 - 3:00 Junior PreGym (3-4 years) Wednesday’s 2:15-3:00 Bookings are essential. 21.01.2022 Tea Tree Gully Kindergym is the only KinderGym in the local Tea Tree Gully area that is affiliated with Gymnastics Australia. Affiliated clubs run with the endorsement and governance of Gymnastics Australia which meets national standards of child safety. This includes all KinderGym Leaders being accredited coaches and all leaders and club personnel requiring a DCSI (Working with Children) clearance. We are very lucky with the facilities we have at Ttg KinderGym as we are loca...ted in a real gymnastics club we have a sprung floor, foam pit, beams, bars and a huge range of Kindergym equipment suited to ages 0-5. We offer various sessions suitable for babies, toddlers and Preschoolers. Our "General sessions" are for 0-5 year olds and offer a short warm up around our parachute followed by free play on all of our amazing equipment! At the end of our sessions we have grouptime which includes movement to music and goodbye song. "Baby sessions" are for 0-2 year olds and are a little quieter with a warm up, free play on all of our Kindergym equipment and group time which includes sensory development and movement to music activities. Pregym sessions are for over 4 year olds. Pregym is a structured program where we teach basic gymnastics skills - but still in a fun, play environment. Junior Pregym is a 45 minute session for 3-4 year olds and is run as a Pregym class but with modified skills for those who are ready for a little more structure. Parents/ Carer's are required to stay with their children and provide hands on assistance when required for all of our sessions including pregym. Waiting lists do apply to some of our sessions but these do move through fairly quickly. Bookings are required for all sessions. Our session times are: General Sessions (0-5 years) Mondays: 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 1:30 Tuesdays: 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 1:00 Wednesdays: 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, Thursdays: 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 1:00 & 2:00 Fridays: 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 All general sessions go for one hour. Baby Sessions (0-2 years) Mondays 2:30 Tuesday’s 2:00 Thursday’s 8:30 All baby sessions go for one hour. Nothing better than a day filled with physical activities and playing.... Tea Tree Gully Gymsports will be holding three open days to all children from age 5 and up. Monday 28 September 2020 Wednesday 30 September 2020 Wednesday 7 October 2020 $39.00 per child, per session No need to be a member. Where: Tea Tree Gully Gymsports 88-100 Elizabeth Street, Banksia Park When registering your child please ensure you complete the medical details section if there is something we need to be aware of. Full use of our large gymnastics' facility-foam pit (currently closed due to COVID), 4 large trampolines, uneven bars, wall bars,rings, beams, double mini trampolines and so much more We also play games; do crafts, watch a movie and have a guest entertainer visit All attendees will be allocated into groups and take part in all activities Breaks will be allocated throughout the day and children will need to bring their own lunch, snacks and drinks for the day. Please note that a drink bottle is an absolute necessity. A vending machine is available if you wish to send your child with a small amount of money. All sessions are run by fully accredited gymnastics coaches, all with current Applied First Aid qualifications and DCSI Working with Children Clearances. If your child is on a medical action plan for taking medication please bring everything in a clearly marked Ziplock bag and notify our Gym Fun leader on the day of this. Fully air conditioned facilities This day is designed to be an active day - please wear comfortable clothes, no skirts or dresses allowed Bare feet are required for all activities inside the Gym Long hair needs to be tied back Please no jewellery or Fitbits, note that our foam pit is known to have swallowed a few Fitbits. As of 17/11/2020 Tea Tree Gully Gymsports will close all its operations per the Emergency COVID Directions released as of 3.15pm, 16/11/2020. 03.01.2022 Dear members Last night 11th-12th December between the hours of 10pm and 8am the club was targeted by arsonists. Whilst there is no damage to the building, they did attempt to set light in a number of places and near a doorway. If the fire had managed to catch the matting on the other side of the door alight, there would have been no stopping the spread of fire and we would not have had a club to return to. As we head into the festive season, and no-one in the building for a... couple of weeks over the Christmas break, we are asking all members to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity. If you are driving past just take notice of any activity and please report to the police on 131444 and for noting is the police report reference number 523. The police will be doing additional drive pasts as well. Thank you for your consideration. After the year we have had, we would really like to be able to open as expected for all members in 2021. 02.01.2022 Bringing siblings to KinderGym & PreGym - School Closure & Pupil Free Days Due to our current COVID-19 restrictions and regulations we have closed our foyer area to the public. We are aware that many schools and kindergartens have school closure and pupil free days in the next couple of weeks and due to our restrictions we are unable to have siblings attend KinderGym or PreGym, even if it is just sitting in the foyer.
