25.01.2022 For me, gratitude always comes in the shape of cake. These baby cakes were made for the educators at my girls’ daycare but for one special educator in particular; a kind, caring and gentle soul who retires this week. My girls will miss Martin’s music and calm way of being but I’m so grateful for the time they shared and all the beautiful things they learned from him. Enjoy retirement, it’s well earned. #grateful #teachers #happyretirement #wewillmissu

15.01.2022 The flavour combos for this year’s Father’s Day boxes have been finalised and I’m happy to say they are crunchy, boozy, chocolaty deliciousness: just chocolate, rocky road and chocolate bourbon + peanut butter. We know the way to a mans heart is through his stomach and these are classic man pleasers, all of them. I still have delivery spots available for the weekend so, if you would like to order something special for your Dad, please DM me. Each box contains 6 serves and is $40 delivered.

10.01.2022 Hi cake lovers, I have been umming and ahhing about how to keep satisfying your cake cravings and the idea I have landed on is offering a cake of the week. So, each week on this page, I will let you know the flavour combination I’m mixing up in the kitchen. If you need cake, let me know via DM by WEDNESDAY and your cake will be delivered on FRIDAY. ... Cakes are $70 and serve 10. Each cake will be double layered to ensure adequate ratio of cake to icing (very important IMO) and will be decorated with fresh blooms. So, drum roll please, this weeks cake is CHOCOLATE. And trust me when I tell you this is THE BEST chocolate cake. It’s buttery, creamy, light and punchy in all the right proportions. If CAKE is on the cards for you this weekend, be in touch - my mixer is at the ready.

09.01.2022 Passion fruit and coconut just tastes like a holiday and this week’s cake is a taste of the holiday you may have had planned this year. The Pina Colada cake is lemon and coconut layered with passion fruit buttercream and decorated with crushed meringue, toasted coconut and fresh blooms. Doesn’t it just sound like the summer holiday we’re all yearning for? ... And if you can’t park yourself on that beach, with that cocktail, then you may as well eat cake. 03.01.2022 The cake of the week this week is a booze filled delight. The Pink Gin and Grapefruit cake has been my go-to this year for birthdays (especially iso ones) and other special occasions. Like Tuesday. But seriously, this is a citrusy, gin cake layered with raspberries and then topped with a creamy buttercream of the same flavour. Pink gin is a revelation. This cake is pretty and feminine but packs a punch - like all the very best girls I know. ... And whereas a morning G&T is not advisable, a slice of this cake AT ANY TIME is always a good idea.
