24.01.2022 The 2019 VET in Schools Forum is in its third year and each year is building on the successes of the previous years. The Forum opened with the Patrick O’Reilly, Principal from Southern Cross Catholic Vocational College providing the Acknowledgement to Country and a welcome to everyone was provided by Chris Jones, Centre Director, The Hills Regional Skills Centre. #tgnsw

04.01.2022 ANNUAL DINNER & PRESENTATION OF AWARDS A very warm invitation is extended to all members and friends of the Guild to attend the Teachers’ Guild of New South Wales Annual Dinner and Presentation of Awards. The 2019 Awards for Excellence in Teaching will be presented to a number of outstanding young colleagues. During the evening, the Guild will also honour teachers who have made a significant contribution to their school, with recipients receiving their World Teachers’ recogni...tion awards. The Guild Scholarship and Research Award will also be presented on the evening along with the Honorary Fellowships of the Guild to some very worthy colleagues on the evening. The awards will honour Dr Dan White, M.Ed (Leadership), M.Ed (R.E.), Ed. D, former Executive Director of Sydney Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Sydney, who will be in attendance and will present the Awards along with our special guests Hon. Sarah Mitchell MP, Minister for Education, Hon. Dr Geoff Lee MP, Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education and Ms Prue Car MP, Shadow Minister for Education.
