22.01.2022 Hi everyone, in celebration of Victoria coming out of lockdown! I have decided to share a FREE lesson teaching on-lead recall to your dogs name with you all. I’m sure that a lot of people on here have seen Squirrels amazing off lead recall to name in the paddocks and wished that their dog would do that. Let me tell you that recall did not happen overnight. It took lots of practice and time. It started off with the video lesson that you will see here though. One more week... Victoria!!! Go ahead and practice this religiously and I would love to see the rest of this year spent with our fur-kids running joyously and coming back every single time.
21.01.2022 Me last week after the 5km was lifted to 25km and I drove around it for 2 hours with the radio on and the windows down!
21.01.2022 Bahahaha I think most of us have that one!
17.01.2022 It’s with very mixed emotions that I’m now able to share Keely’s short- film debut here. From a scared girl who I adopted at 3 years of age who was such a social mess, through to having progressive retinal atrophy and going completely blind at 10 years and being completely rehabilitated. The trust and the bond we created together was phenomenal. Vale my beautiful best friend I still think about you every day. ... https://m.youtube.com/watch
15.01.2022 THE MILITARY DOG By Ian Coate We’ve lost another soldier-our firm and faithful friend.... So swift of feet and strong of heart-so loyal to the end. He was a combat soldier-ideal in every way. In action he was fearless-the first into the fray. He was my shield between our foes-my sword within a fight. My ears within the stillness- my eyes within the night. We bonded in our training-he had a troopers soul. If not for his protection-we couldn’t do our role. And now he has departed-he served his country true. So don’t forget my loyal mate-who died for me and you. #lestweforget #militarydogs
14.01.2022 Who else can relate?
13.01.2022 First lesson back for Dougy after lockdown! And meet the newest team member Lucy, Dougy’s new sister. Dougy remembered everything remarkably well and we introduced a drop stay which he aced with ease. We started lessons for Lucy but only a little bit as she is still just a baby. ... Looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple of weeks and seeing more wonderful progress. Good Boy Dougy, Good Girl Lucy!
07.01.2022 A wonderfully kind recommendation from our mate up in Queensland @good_dog_bt Good dog trainers not only help each other but they support each other. Good trainers means more dogs get helped in either prevention or rehabilitation and that is what it’s all about. A good trainer should be able to demonstrate what they convey to you with their own dog to a high standard. If you are hiring someone, please ensure that they can not only talk, but walk the walk. ... If you’re up in Queensland Brisbane check out Kaz’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/GOODDOGBT/ Kaz is a fantastic trainer who will work with you on not only obedience but the essential good manners too. I have an anxious border collie (Zak) who upon surrender was very unreliable in many scenarios like strangers, new environments, open spaces, men and other dogs. Mandy has been an extraordinary mentor to me throughout my training with him and I’ve since been able to launched my own dog training business with Zak as my main training partner. What a turn around!! Her knowledge and experience working with dogs alongside their owners is invaluable and I hope to continue to learn from her teachings. I highly recommend Mandy’s service as your trainer, in my opinion anyone who gets to learn from Mandy is a lucky family indeed. Thank you so much Mandy for how much you’ve already taught me and no doubt countless others. Cheers Kaz and Zak
07.01.2022 Here is the most beautiful photo update of our littlest dog trainer Ella and Snickers. from super mum Sarah Littlejohn I am deeply sad to hear that the wonderful Tony Robinson has lost his fight and is no longer with us. Tony was a very gentle person and no home visit from me went by without him making me coffee which he knew I loved, exactly how I like it. I always looked forward to and enjoyed our chat time at the end of my visits. Vale Tony, the world is a sadder place without you in it. My deepest condolences to Sarah and Ella. xoxoxo
