25.01.2022 How to fix poor signal? The most reliable method is by assesment and testing. Identification of non-digital compliant parts in the system and testing of parts to assure they are working correctly. Solutions that work for barry may not work for harry. Solutions that worked perfectly once may not twice. Simply because the art of "monkey see monkey do" is not enough to comply with digital standards.... There now exists many more variables than was just 15 years ago. Intermittent loss of signal or pixilation can be due to often a simple little thing, but what little thing? Try the simple fix but if that doesn't work. That's not how it is. It's not "the area". It can be fixed. With experience, training, best practice and industry leading test equipment we can see all the variables. We have the educated edge not the backyard cluey guestimation.

25.01.2022 Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Digital TV The heat is on and first up lets put a nail in the common misunderstandings. Signal level is not related to picture quality. Digital signal sends of packets data that your TV decodes and turns into a picture and not like an analog line scan type of dot by dot signal. White noise and ghosting have been replaced with no signal and pixilation....Continue reading

21.01.2022 Did you know TV and Radio signals can bounce far beyond line-of-sight. This includes VHF, UHF and Digital TV Signals. Wide angle, broken and misaligned TV antennas will likely have loss of signal or pixilation on one or more channels today and tomorrow then start working again with a cool change. The intermittent nature may seem confusing but it's really just a clue that something needs attention.... Clear sky and hot days test your system it doesn't break it. We can repair or maybe even just a manual tune is needed to asure clear digital TV in all weather conditions

21.01.2022 Did you know? We are the first local and registered tv antenna installation company in this area. Not another random contractor or weekend expert that offer zero warranty.

20.01.2022 Tea gardens hawks nest 4g lte filter. The new buzz is "4g filtering" to fix your pixilation and no signal issues. For cheaper or older antennas these may be needed. We have been using double 4G LTE Filters for over 5 years on new antenna installations so it would never be an issue for our customers.... Before getting talked into the latest marketing buzz check the basics. A simple low tech assesment anyone can do. 1 is it old? 2 is it broken?

18.01.2022 Had enough of the pixilation? Loss of signal and unreliable picture quality? Start 2018 with less frustration and don't miss the end of a game or show! We can upgrade old or troubleshoot new. Antenna systems is our primary business and we are interested in fixing the problems others can not.... Any handyman, plumber, sparky or boilermaker can put up an antenna but when something doesn't work right only training, education and full time experience can provide a solution that works today, tonight, next week and years later. Don't be fooled into the quick fix or "patch up" these can cost much more over time. Every house has it's own unique signal profile, even in the same street. We can deliver a personal solution based on what is needed for your system and save you money.

13.01.2022 Tea Gardens no signal. 1 of 3 - keeping it simple. If your TV does not have enough signal to decode the picture it can go from perfect to no signal very quickly.... In the digital picture you can not see the signal level so it may be "just enough" to give you that perfect picture. In short "pun intended" your signal is not enough to be reliable. We can do many things to increase TV signal level and reduce external noise factors. If we do not attend to these the signal level will vary and it will drop out. Perfect clear sky and poor signal is a common point of endless wonder for many people. But simply the noise level goes up reducing your usable signal level and in rain we have signal attenuation different factors that if not taken into account will cause trouble on a regular basis. Yes a hot clear day and nice blue sky we have a negative that comes into play. Often this is resolved when we attend to the basics and improve the signal level. Recapping signal level is not visible in the picture. Don't start fault finding digital with old analog methods. Are you digital ready? If it works most of the time this doesn't confirm compliance with digital standards. Hot days and 4G interference does give you a good clue something is not up to standard. Is it old or outdated? Digital TV does not understand what "should work" it will simply fail at the worst possible time. That is how it works. If you can identify what is old, broken or outdated that is often your trouble maker. Simples. Don't replace a simple logical process with "should work". If it did work it may indeed fail as anything man made will. If your antenna is a quality brand name failure is unlikely if it's the cheapest failure is expected sooner than later. Simple again. Failing after working "perfectly" is what happens when these basic rules proven true daily are forgoten or ignored for a should be right non-science based reason. Trying to expand but still keeping to the simple building blocks. Is it old? Is it cheap? Is it outdated? Are the correct parts used? And are they installed correctly? Many antennas are on the market all claiming to be the best of the best. A few are best but only when used in the correct location. The often sold "best antenna perfect for all areas" is never as good as the correct quality antenna for performance and lifespan. This can be proven in the lab and in the field. Simple and predictable but not as exciting as a good sales and marketing team. Just no frills simple.

05.01.2022 What is wrong with my digital tv reception? Simple steps you can do. Check your cables and connections. They may be damaged or broken yes even if they worked perfect yesterday. People often skip the simple basics even running out to buy a new TV when the intermittent irregular annoying fault was just a simple connector!... Are you tuned in? Perfectly clear then no signal? It could be a number of things and it could be a simple tune. Yes stop looking for the fuzzy picture this is digital and reliable reception is based on many factors including the little things. Antenna alignment is important if yours is pointing at the moon or broken in half your signal will often become intermittent. Keep in mind it doesn't snow on digital tv. 4G compliant antennas have been around for many years but not every builder or sparky knows what a 4G is or what you should feed it. Your antenna installer can test and show you the results. New antenna and/or new houses come with warranty if they don't and your up to your seventh antenna then your feeding the trolls and not addressing the problem. In town we have a few vhf antennas and an awful lot of old antennas but we have 2 new houses with backwards antennas. No doubt they do work perfect today but will they work perfect tomorrow? Murphy's Law can be applied to predict your outage will be not today but in the middle of your show, game or race. Hanging cable is often a sign that something may be poorly installed. If your antenna mast is not vertical this may not seem like a big deal but can be a sign your roof is about to leak and possibly much worse! Some fly-by-night installers like to dodgy things up as no warranty = more work. Missing your show right now? Disgruntled holiday residents? Quick run down the club! They use Adam's antenna. Not because he's the first and only local government endorsed installer or a registered acma cabler. Simply because warranty.
