24.01.2022 Had a cracking weekend at Whitsunday Moto Sports Club - Karting for round 1 of the Qld Kart Championship. Dominic qualified 6th which we were very happy with in a 28 kart field. Our man Lachlan Platten 747 was only a couple of spots back. Unfortunately we had two DNF’s which had us starting the final out of P22 which isn’t where you want to be at anytime especially when it’s pissing down rain! Got the rocket setup from Energy and drove it to P6. Got held up by a couple o...f hard to pass competitors otherwise might have got a couple more spots. 747 made it onto the podium, what a legend and how good was Mikey Janusz in the wet, congratulations on what I think is your biggest win yet!! Thanks to William Yarwood Jason Platten and Damien Flack for their help and MG for the horse power. Next show will be the Mackay Mini Rok Enduro on July 27th. 23.01.2022 P20 start with P14 Finish in the final. Dom was on the pace but lacked track position all weekend but pretty good result. Thanks to MG for the rocket donk and Damien Flack for his assistance on the Energy kart. Big thanks to the Taylor family for feeding us all weekend!!

15.01.2022 Dominic & Lincoln are teaming up for their 2nd Enduro together, this time at IPSWICH KART CLUB to support the Blue Datto Foundation - this event is a bit shorter than the one the boys did last time so you can expect the intensity to be turned up even further, can't wait!!

11.01.2022 Dominic is missing his brother from another mother this weekend, captain Lachlan Platten 747. Will need to channel 747’s fighting spirit tomorrow. If William Yarwood delivers the rain anything could happen.

10.01.2022 Heat 4, Dominic needed a result after being knocked off in Heat 1 costing him precious points required to make the final. Dom charged hard and got from P22 to P15 in the first 2 laps before being turned around by another competitor. We had good race craft all weekend but didn’t get to show what we could do except perhaps in Heat 2 where Dom charged through to 6th before getting shuffled back to 9th. Disappointing end to the weekend but we’ll try again next time. No matter what we’re still gonna send it!! Huge thank you to Paul Kristoris & Theo from Leader Computers AU for helping to get us on the grid for the South Australian round.
