My first 30 on Australian soil. Im in such disbelief! ... 2 days ago I was just putting the middle and top crux moves together and it seemed like it would take some decent time to link up. I had a rest day yesterday and today I was only hoping for some linkage and to maybe just get a highpoint. I spent some time working out the top crux and then decided to go for a fitness burn and try for the highpoint. When I made it passed the tough middle crux and felt good I pulled myself together and went for the send. I managed to recover well in the knee bars and the top crux seemed to just flow together. ... Then I was on the top rounded jug screaming in happiness. What the hell!!!! How did that just happen!?!!! Im so ridiculously happy... but also a little sad that another project journey is over. I guess its time for the next one! ... Massive thanks to the amazing @mandamins for the belay and @brysonklein97 for the stoke and great day out. On Saturday, November 7, Julia managed to climb "Eagle 4", 9b in Saint Léger du Ventoux (France). Before her, this route has only been climbed by Adam Ondra and Hugo Parmentier.... Of course every athlete is individual and some have more confidence by nature than others do. My first ever 31 went down today! SO ridiculously happy to send "Esoteric Agenda" 8b (31) at Mt Coolum. What an incredibly beautiful line I feel so grateful to have come across. Im proud to have the first female ascent and hope to inspire more women to try t...his stunning climb. The moves are burly and powerful but so enjoyable and so many super fun moves. I had to work out some tricky short-people beta so hit me up if youre my height I was surprised to send it on my first go today and 5th session on it, but I was obsessed since I first pulled onto this climb Thank you @genya.kot and @alistairearley for the awesome day out and sharing in my victory dance moves.
