For 1980s kids the local rollerskating rink was the place to be! Roller disco, limbo and speed races all brought in the crowds. 12 year old artistic skater Tammy Bryant won the 1989 Australian National Artistic Rollerskating Championship, and then at 13, she became the youngest ever skater to represent Australia at the World Ch...ampionships in Germany, competing against adults! Our modern artistic rollerskaters, Matthew and Charli, have to learn how to train and practice 1980s style! 21.01.2022 Congrats to all our fabulous skaters and coaches today in our first comp for a while. So grateful to be able to still be able do this in SA. Thanks to all our spectators for complying with distancing restrictions and covid regulations and helping make the day a success. See you in November

20.01.2022 Halloween fun morning

19.01.2022 Effective immediately exercising will be allowed out of home only in family groups. The following restrictions will be eased as of midnight Saturday 21 November... - Venues and premises will be limited to one person per 4 square metre density rule - Venues and premises will be limited to 100 people and bookings limited to 10 people - Seated consumption is required for all venues - Funerals will be limited to 50 people - Weddings will be limited to 150 people but vertical consumption of alcohol and dancing will not be allowed - Religious ceremonies will be restricted to 100 people - Private gatherings at public places (parks and beaches) will be limited to 50 people - Gatherings at private residences will be limited to 10 people - Personal care providers (hairdresser, beauticians etc) will be required to wear masks and it is strongly advised that customers wear masks as well - Gyms will be allowed to reopen - Schools will be allowed to reopen Monday morning - Facemask use is still being advised going forwards. The State Government is aiming for reopening to be at same level we were at on Friday (13 November) by 1 December. There were 3 new cases today, making it 25 cases linked to the Parafield Gardens cluster. There are 44 suspected cases, almost 4,500 close contacts or contacts of close contacts quarantining.

18.01.2022 Hi All As it appears that our stadiums won't be opening as yet, for the time being don't forget to keep up your training, at outdoor areas/courts, off skate etc as you have done at begining of year. Hopefully this will be short term but we will keep you posted. Don't forget to reach out to each other and your coaches if you need support. Stay safe

15.01.2022 STAR CLASS/LEARN TO SKATE IS BACK We're so happy to announce that this Saturday 27th June, 9am to 10am we return to The Parks Recreation Centre with our Star Class Learn to Skate Program. Our club is COVID Safe compliant and our fabulous coaches are certified under the Australian Coaching Councils COVID Safe Sport Coaches and Officials accreditation so you are in great hands.... ... Please arrive at the stadium in time for skates on and ready to roll by 9am. Please be aware that drink fountains are currently unavailable so be sure to bring your water. We welcome back our existing Star Class skaters and if its your first time we look forward to meeting you too. See you there

13.01.2022 OPEN TO ALL -Free skate at the 4 outdoor tennis courts on Military Rd, West Beach opposite the Caravan Park for SkateSA Members & General Public. There will be ...skates & padding available for general public but suggest you bring your own bike helmet. There will be a cheap BBQ & soft drinks, plus music, so bring your chairs & shade & sit back & enjoy. It will be held following the SkateSA AGM (2pm SportSA) just a 1 min walk.
