25.01.2022 What an awesome experience it was to have Luis Perez from Argentina teach here in NSW. All of our coaches and skaters enjoyed learning from Luis, and his passion and energy was very contagious. We feel very inspired now by his words of encouragement and grateful for the way he shared his expansive knowledge on all things skating. And not to forget the wonderful work our dance expert Brooke Lane did with our skaters off skates. It was 4 days of hard but enjoyable work, and our skaters have been very fortunate to have experienced this. Thank you to all from Skate NSW Artistic for organising the seminar.

21.01.2022 At long last, today we were back after 3 months off due to Covid restrictions. And our first of our Return to Skating induction classes kicked off with lots of enthusiasm. A big shout out to Sue and Robert Kersten for their ongoing support of our awesome skating club. 20.01.2022 Hi All, Exciting news! Today Gawaine and I found out that we may be back to teaching skating here in NSW in the next 2 to 4 weeks. More details need to be clarified and we will share these as they are confirmed by the NSW Government. Part of coming back to skating is making sure everyone is fit and well (physically and mentally) to return. Come along to see our talented skaters from Team Skatel showcase their great skating skills in front of a wonderful audience of families and friends.... Spectators can purchase tickets at the door for $5 each on the day. Due to the COVID-19 situation and subsequent cancellation of the 2020 State Championships on the weekend 25-26 April 2020 ... we will have a virtual Artistic Online State Championship catch up. It was a fun and entertaining afternoon on skates and so wonderful to see everyone having such a great time. 09.01.2022 After being home for just a couple of weeks its great to reflect on the amazing trip Gawaine Davis and I had in Portugal. By attending the World Skate Seminar and working with the worlds best in our amazing sport, we have come away as Level 2 World Skate coaches and feel truly inspired.

It was so great to finally see Andre Monardo (one of our talented skating parents) in his element performing on stage. 07.01.2022 Hi All, It was great to see some more of our skater's smiling faces again online yesterday, and some we havent seen for a little while. We hoped everyone that joined in enjoyed the session (and werent too tired afterwards). Starting next week we are going to trial some specific return to skating classes during the week.... So these will be more skills based, and well keep going with the off skate fitness classes on Saturdays at the same time as this week 10:15 - 11:15am. Once we know how the mid week classes are working, and as we get closer to a return to skating date we will increase the number of mid week classes. But due to the current Covid 19 situation that didnt happen but how good was it to catch up with many of our skaters online this weekend. Many NSW skaters have been working on their fitness and flexibility at home and are in good spirits and are showing great motivation. 02.01.2022 Hi All, This year rather than asking for donations for a Christmas raffle, we are asking for donations towards a great cause! There is a charity called Share The Dignity & they are running a campaign called It's In The Bag. They basically hand out handbags (can be used but in good condition) filled with ladies sanitary products to women that cannot afford these basic necessities. There are a whole range of women these guys help and every little bit counts. If you would like t...o donate and help us as a club to give to some of these women in need, there is a box in the party area downstairs at the rink for any donations towards this great cause. Here are some of the things we are looking to donate: New or used handbags in good condition shampoo/conditioner hairbrush/hair ties bodywash/body wipes/soap Sanitary hygiene products deodorant books Anything else you think might brighten a woman's day *No razors, food items or medication can be accepted* Here is the link to the Share The Dignity website to you can see what it is all about if you are interested. https://sharethedignity.com.au/
