17.01.2022 Meet the team from Team Toriana. Hey my name is Emily. I'm currently studying psychology at university which is how I found my way into a support worker role! I've realised through my own experiences how powerful it can be to have people that support and empower you to reach your goals and build the life you want to live. This has inspired me to want to be able to support and empower others, which is why I love the role I'm in!... Outside of work and study, I love exercise but hate the gym. My favourite kind of exercise is the type that's an experience rather than a chore - Indoor rock climbing is my current favourite. On the flip-side of that I do enjoy my lazy days spent on the couch with tea and a book. I also love trying new and exciting things (like hanging out with the meerkats at Australia Zoo)!

My name is Rohan I have 2 kids who are now adults and have coached their AFL and Netball teams when they were young and I love recreational activities. ... Golf is my favourite sport outside of umpiring AFL. I volunteer for a charity organisation that allow disabled athletes play golf and open doors for work opportunities. I like to work with timber making furniture out of pallets too.

06.01.2022 Meet the team from Team Toriana. My name is Daffy. I have been studying nursing for around 2 years now and decided to take a short break, to work in disability support and age care. I enjoy learning and working with people from all walks of life, as I believe everyone has something new and exciting to bring to the table. This kind of attitude was instilled in me at the young age as I lived on a boat for a period of time. In that time away we sailed to different countries, a...nd I learned about many different cultures and their different ways of living. I’m an extremely happy-go-lucky like of person, always make the good out of any kind of situation. Due to my interesting and laid back upbringing, I have a very open mind and heart to any person that comes my way. I really been enjoying my time working for Team Toriana, it’s an amazing team that really puts the people first and it super flexible to suit the different individuals/families we support !
