19.01.2022 Here we go again... Except this year with a twist. I have decided to do the Bloody Long Walk again in 2019, but this time, twice. I will be doing the BLW in Melbourne with my sister, in August and then again in Canberra in October.... Donations are always welcome! 09.01.2022 For those have supported Team B.L.I.S.T.E.R over the last seven years, maybe wondering why we aren’t at the Relay for a Life this year. For a number of reasons, personal, financial, and time based. I haven’t been able to organise the team this year. Additionally the change of the attendance rules have made the event not so family friendly, which for a team of our makeup, really reduces the enthusiasm that I have had in previous years. This would have been my seventh year in a... row as Team captain. While I still champion the cause of cancer research, I have been unable to commit to the cause. Hopefully next year will be a better one, and with your support Team B.L.I.S.T.E.R will return to the Relay for Life, next March. Thanks again for all the support over the years. Greg

06.01.2022 So... like.... yeah.... weeeee... What a weekend at the Relay for Life. Team B.L.I.S.T.E.R has exceeded themselves, again this year, raising $6396.50!... 05.01.2022 So it has recently been pointed out to me, that the Relay for Life is on again in March. Team B.L.I.S.T.E.R is registered again this year and in need of people that are keen to help fundraise to find a cure for cancer. It gives me pause for hope that the news articles these days are regularly announcing new wonder drugs and cures for this terrible disease that will affect each of us in our lifetime. It means that the fundraising that this team has achieved over the last seve...n years has made a real impact. The rules of registration have changed a little this year, so if you are considering attending, make sure you read all the fine print. This is the seventh year that Team B.L.I.S.T.E.R will wonder around the track in the dark and light for 24 hours. Please consider joining us and making this a epic year!!

04.01.2022 It’s been a big walking year for mito research and I just wanted to a special thank you to all the B.L.I.S.T.E.R-ers that suffered and succeeded during the Bloody Long Walk in 2018. We raised $7979 for mito research which is a pretty bloody good effort for a bloody long walk. Including logging 342 km in preparation for the event. Thanks to all who came for the walk, looking forward to a bigger crew next year
