25.01.2022 Arrived in Bargara Don Pancho Beach Resort - Classic Holidays

23.01.2022 New accessories for Morrison for this years rally, custom driving gloves!

21.01.2022 Day 5 - Cut and Run 1,750 km (over 2 days). BAD NEWS ....due to unforeseen work commitments and ongoing sudden loss of power, we have had to make the tough call, to call it a day... Big shout out to all our wonderfull sponsors especially Classic Holidays, The MBA Partnership Accountants, Simmonds and Bristow and all our supporters, your ongoing support is humbling. We achieved the primary goal and raised $24,000 for the Endevour Foundation helping people with disabilitie...s. On our way home we made an over night stop in Roma for our traditional end of Rally Chinese feed, look at the big smile on Morry’s face. So, watch this space we will back... PS: Special mention to Chris Munro from redhotshotz.com for the fantastic photography of the Gremlin in full flight (when he was able to catch us!).

21.01.2022 Hi all If you are in a position to give a small donation to help Solange Schuba and Morrison Duncan raise a few dollars, we would be very grateful! Due to travel commitments, unfortunately Ramy is stepping aside for the One Day Rally and has reluctantly handed the keys to Morrison... Watch this space for updates ! https://fundraise.endeavour.com.au/fundraisers/TeamClassic

20.01.2022 And we’re off, heading to Bundy for the start!

19.01.2022 Day 4 - Kynuna to Burke & Wills Roadhouse 611 km. With a good night sleep we get to breakfast and drivers briefing, a number of us were reminded that the rally is not a speed event. On that note, go to our car and see the new graffiti (see Photo, Adam is Rally Director). Our first stop was at the Crocodile Dundee’s Walkabout Creek Hotel where the movie was filmed. A group photo was taken and a couple of selfies. To assist Ramy with his navigation, Morry presented Ramy wit...h a green highlighter to highlight any Turns. Funny thing was, in the afternoon we were given new road book instructions following course change. As the Control person was reading them Morry was writing them down, and Ramy standing over his shoulder watching. Some people accuse Ramy of being controlling and not trusting..... Well as the instruction was read out Turn Left (TL) Morry writes TR!!! And you wonder why! We crossed water for the first time today, but still no need for the snorkel, bloody bridge! Still very dry countryside. The car had a few issues, with very deep ruts our little Subaru with little to no clearance managed to get through but unfortunately damage the exhaust (car sounds really loud now ), also we kept loosing power, this happened a number of times throughout the day. Computer is registering a waste gate valve problem?? The big question is where did we sleep? Well we decided to head to nearby Cloncurry for the night in the Motel, an opportunity to look over the car.

18.01.2022 Scrutinring done and passed with flying colours, all ready to go. Check out the front cover of this years road book!

18.01.2022 12 weeks till we hit the open road. This year, we're building on what we all achieved in 2018. Thanks to your support, the Endeavour Foundation were able to invest in virtual reality equipment, providing a new learning opportunity for people with disability.... And they’re ready to do so much more. With our fundraising efforts, the Endeavour Foundation will take this technology to Learning and Lifestyle hubs all around Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. The goal is $500,000 - let’s help them do it. Donate here: https://2019ger.everydayhero.com/au/team-classic

15.01.2022 Our 2019 Sponsorship Stickers are on! A huge shoutout to our sponsors The MBA Partnership Pty Ltd and Simmonds & Bristow Pty. Ltd. RTO code 1735

15.01.2022 Day 2 - Theodore to Jericho 591 Km. Well a faultless day navigating, car reliability and driver skills. The drive was through amazing parts of the country, something the Great Endeavour Rally excels at offering. The lunch stop was at the Old Rainworth Fort which was built in 1862 as a secure store for supplies from the coast. Rainworth was on the wagon route from Rockhampton to the west. It’s purpose was also two fold following the 1861 Wills massacre, it was decided that... the construction be fortified to protect the local settlers should further unrest occurs. The afternoon Navigator role was attributed to Morry while the driving to Ramy. The rally is not a speed event, your points are based on the closest time to the overall average. Someone graffitied the back of our car with Fast does not equal First the message was noted, and Ramy to his credited drove the afternoon like any Sunday drive. Somehow Morry did not seem to think so! and kept hanging to the Oh S#@t handle.

11.01.2022 The Team are ready for this year’s Great Endeavour Rally, thanks to the generosity of all your donations including our platinum sponsors The MBA Partnership Pty Ltd and Simmonds & Bristow Pty. Ltd. RTO code 1735

10.01.2022 We want to give a huge shoutout to Simmonds & Bristow Pty. Ltd. RTO code 1735 for their generous donation once more to stand beside us once again as a Platinum Sponsor. We're so humbled by your generosity.

10.01.2022 Happy to announce that the snorkel passed it's first test at the car wash!

10.01.2022 Day 1 - Bundaberg to Theodore 400km. We started from Bundaberg Rum distillery at 7:45 this morning, by the time we returned from breakfast the rally guys had zip tied pool noodles, floaties and a couple of snorkels. We are prepared for any water crossing this year We were all ready to go, and we realised Morry left his special gloves in his bag, too late were off (he won’t need them, Ramy thought!!). During the morning session a number of calls by Morry were Right ov...er the Grid while pointing left, gloves defintley needed!! Lunch was at the Mulgildie Pub and there was a compulsory 30 min stop, Ramy’s turn to navigate the afternoon stages, was heard to mumble I’ll show him how its done... Last stage of the day as we are 15km into the stage and the navigator missed a 0.27 Gravel Then TR to Grid instead of calling the Turn Right we kept going merrily on our way, it only took some 15 Km to realise we were lost. However (we can hear you laughing) the detailed map in our road book and Ramy’s problem solving skills navigated us past farmers on tractors and a alike to join the rally course after a 30 km detour. I think on this stage will will score good points as we will be close to the average time LOL. Tomorrow we are sharing the gloves - Let’s see what tomorrow brings. #2019GER

04.01.2022 Additional floatation added this year by our colleagues!

04.01.2022 Day 3 - Jericho to Kynuna 567 km. After overnighting at Jericho where it is claimed to o have the worlds smallest drive-in holds 36 cars and was opened in 1969, showing the classic Blues Brothers for inspiration we headed out to Kynuna. It was harsh to see how this land was some 9 months after being totally flooded and in typical Australian conditions is now in drought. Over the last three driving days we crossed over 30 creeks and none put our snorkel to the test, in fac...t all were dry river beds! The drive was again uneventful, from car performance and navigation point of view. Views of this country and the places we go are amazing! So.... Kynuna went in to get our room at the Blue Heeler Pub in Kynuna. What booking mate? Was the response, you know the one I confirmed yesterday.... Nah mate got nothing you should have seen Morry’s face priceless!! So we go out back to the camp ground at the back of the pub and thought Morry better cool down before we set up tent, so he had coke! Plan B can we drive 160km round trip to nearest hotel! Reality sets in our tents and sleeping bags were getting used tonight... And just then a lady from Endeavour came over and said we have moved some people around and we’ve manage to get a room for you, joy oh joy. We thought we better check tomorrow’s accommodation at the Bourke and Wills Hotel, Morry rings them Nah mate nothing booked, were under new management

04.01.2022 Today we worked on plumbing with a soundtrack of mild profanity and colourful commentary.

02.01.2022 Last day of fundraising, closes at 5pm! We are presently in third position, every dollars helps, just saying....
