25.01.2022 THE HOLY SPIRIT BRINGS BOLDNESS I have been pondering on the dynamics observed in Acts chapter 4. After Peter and John had healed the lame man sitting at the gate of the temple, it caused disruptions in the existing religious world.... The priests, the elders, and scribes and religious of the time thought that when they had crucified Jesus, that was end of their worries. Their concern was that their prized position of leadership would now no more be challenged by the demonstration of Gods power. When Jesus was gone they thought they had won that battle. When Peter and John who had received the gift of the Holy Spirit, they received power and boldness. In 2 Timothy:7,Paul’s declares For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Remember when Jesus was arrested Peter denied he knew Jesus, now Peter is bold as a lion, not afraid of anyone even the powerful religious leaders of the day who had the power to imprison and put to death if anyone challenged their authority or position. When Peter and John, filled with the Holy Spirit stood before the Sanhedrin, a powerful religious court, they spoke with boldness declaring that healing this lame man was through the power of Jesus of Nasareth. One of my observations when reading this amazing story is that the leaders of the time noted that these men were: - Uneducated.....and - Untrained Can one conclude from this story that being filled with the Holy Spirit educates and trains you? It sure does Paul mentions in one his epistles that God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the mighty. The educated religious leaders who confronted Peter and John were marveled at their boldness and spiritual knowledge This is wonderful story and an encouragement to us all who love the Lord. Let’s be strong in the Lord!

18.01.2022 I woke up at around 3am and saw a black horse in my mirror staring at me. What a shock. It was huge and I saw every detail. The muscular legs, mane and tail, etc It was looking right at me. The black horse in the Bible represents financial hardship and hunger. I believe every nation on earth is going to suffer extreme financial hardship and many are going to lose everything they have worked for. Like in Joseph’s time, due to the famine every nation and every individual on ear...th lost everything except those in Egypt under an anointed man of God. Those in covenant with God survived and lived well in a time when everyone else lost everything and had to turn their possessions over to Joseph. I believe this vision is a warning for God’s people to stay under His anointing and live in supernatural blessings. We have to look to the Lord for survival in these days when hunger stalks the earth due to a financial collapse worldwide. Do not rely on the world system but rather live by faith every day as a covenant son and daughter of the living God and you will survive. But extreme hard times are a certainty everywhere. 11.01.2022 SET PEOPLE FREE....AND....THE ATTACKS COME. I was reading today in Acts chapter 4 and as I read and pondered on the events as described in these passages of scripture and noticed a pattern that also happens today as Christian workers ‘ do what Jesus did’ Peter and John had healed a man on their way to the temple. This man was was born lame and his parents dropped him off at the gate of the temple to beg for alms.... Peter and John said to him silver and gold we do not have but what we do have I give to you...in the name of the Jesus of Narareth ....rise up and walk This man was over 40 years and leaped up and started jumping and praising God as he got strength in his legs and ankle bones. This man, lame from birth, had been sitting at the gate of the temple for years begging for alms, the priests and religious leaders of the day had been passing him by everyday, and probably dropped some coins at his feet, but did not heal him. As soon as the apostles healed him these religious leaders were angry and Peter and John were brought before the High Priest, the religious leaders, elders and scribes and they were told not to use the name of Jesus again. (There is power in the name of Jesus ) Why is it that when Christian workers who believe what Jesus told them to do and heal people they experience attack from the most unlikely of individuals. Many people are sitting in Churches today who are looking to their leaders for help because they are sick, bound, and want to be set free, but receive nothing from their spiritual leaders, but as soon as a Christian worker does what Jesus did and does deliver these people from their bondage they get attacked. Well I believe they are no different from the religious leaders in the day of Jesus and the apostles. So many people call themselves apostles but they have never healed anyone, nor set people free but they are ready to criticise and attack those who actually deliver suffering people from their misery It is difficult to understand why this happens in the church today. When one reads in Acts 4 and note what the apostles went through then we realise that it is normal to experience attacks from so-called religious leaders. What the apostles experienced then is exactly what Christian workers experience today when ‘ they do what Jesus did.....set people free’

09.01.2022 Acts 12 - READ THE STORY OF PETER IN JAIL Herod jailed Peter intending to bring him before the people after the Passover. He already killed James with a sword, so Peter was in big trouble. In jail 4 squads of soldiers were guarding him.... - bound with 2 chains between 2 soldiers - with guards at the door The Nagel of the Lord arrived. Peter was sleeping. The Angel struck Peter on the side. - raised him up - the chains fell off his hands Peter followed the Angel of the Lord - walked past the 1st guards - walked past the 2nd guard posts - the iron gate leading to the city opened up of its own accord What was the Church doing? - offering up constant prayer for Peter How they respond when Peter arrived at the gate of the door? - They did not believe! - They were astonished! The Lesson. When you pray God hears your prayer and responds and answers Let’s believe and not be astonished when God answers our prayers! PRAY ALWAYS AND CONSTANTLY
