24.01.2022 Another motorsport efi package completed and shipped out to Vic at Just Engine Tuning in Sydney for Sharky's 7 second R33 Gts-T skyline project. A Link ECU Xtreme G4+ ecu and MXG Strada 7" digital dash where chosen to complement our concentric twisted Tefzel wire and Raychem DR25 harnessing, sensor compilation, plug and play chassis integration, programming, bench testing and quality control checks where also made to make it a guaranteed simple effective installation !
24.01.2022 Bradens VL SL recently came in for some extra re-assembly after a doing his own engine swap, after locating a completely split intake plenum the decision was made to install a brand new plazmaman.com race intake plenum with throttle body and fuel rail kit Once the plenum installation was completed we continued with a full dyno tune on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers hub dyno using Link ECU G4 Storm ecu as the controls Results with the new intake installed and a full re-tune where right on target with 647rwhp on United E85 and 26psi boost from the Garrett - Advancing Motion GTW3884 turbocharger
22.01.2022 Dan's genuine VL Calais turbo came in just before the Christmas break and was the last tune up for 2019 Back in for the first service and check over after a full JWST package almost 18 months ago we got it on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers pro hub to do a full re-tune on the Link ECU and results were on target at just over 700rwhp on 26psi boost Our typical combination of bolt ones included plazmaman.com street top half plenum and billet 60mm throttle body, Garrett - Advancing Motion GT3582 turbocharger and 6boost V-band turbo manifold
20.01.2022 Jordys Toyota 1jz converted Cressida in for a touch up tune, still using the V44 Vipec ecu fitted quiet some years ago and running a flex style tune Results were again a new pb with 522rwhp on 22psi from the Garrett - Advancing Motion GT3582R turbocharger
20.01.2022 Another VL turbo in the workshop recently, Josh's Berlina came in for a fuel system upgrade including Bosch 1000cc injectors, Speedflow Australia upgraded hoses, custom alloy undercar surge tank and a single Bosch 044 fuel pump We fitting a single channel MSD Performance CDI igniton unit, Link ECU can lambda module and boost control valve to compliment the already installed Link ECU G4+ plug in ecu With a 100% full re-tune on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers hub dyno results were exactly as customer requested with just over 400hp at the rear hubs still using a factory A6 short block Garrett - Advancing Motion Gtx3576 Gen 2 turbocharger, 6boost T3 turbo manifold, 15psi boost and pump 98 fuel
18.01.2022 Another successful weekend at the Kenda Tires 660 Drag Radial Series Series Expression Session for our outlaw radial customers Kyle Hopf and Peta Hopf and Wade and Andrew Wagstaff Both cars running multiple pb passes over the 3 day event, with our very own staff member Micheal Ahern on the lap top tuning and performing data acquisition on the Hopf's 6boost twin turbo Noonan Hemi powered 68 Camaro, with the team managing a new et pb of [email protected] and their first 200mph pass... and also mph pb of [email protected], the first steel bodied radial car to break the 200mph 1/8th mile barrier in Australia. Once again Wades immaculately presented team lead the field with his "The Grinch" 1957 Noonan screw blown Chevy, with a new Australian radial record and a team pb of [email protected] along with a multitude of 3 second/200 mph passes We are honored to be involved in the build and maintenance of both these cars over the last few years, big congrats guys ! Also a shout out to the Lee and Jason from Baxter Bros Racing on a new pb in their street car 275 radial tyred 2jz Toyota powered VH Commodore, with a new pb of [email protected] and a 1.21 60 utilizing our on track tuning services. 18.01.2022 So we finally got a chance to test George's newest single cam RB30 engine combination for BT1LW5 we finished late 2019 at Willowbank Raceway | Drag Racing's Finest this evening With over 1700hp at the rear hubs BT1 immediately pb'd with a [email protected] of the trailer and backed it up straight up with [email protected], still un-tubbed, factory style suspension lay out and a 255 Street R radial tyre, wow what a night Thank you George, Lily and all of team BT1 to once again push the goals, "team JW" Michael, Terry, Glen, Dave and Karlene for the effort over the last few months preparing the new combo, all the local boys and girls and Victor Jet Baralos for the trip's up over the last few weeks "massive coffee and muffin over loads"
17.01.2022 Another one of the vl jobs wrapped up in the recent few weeks was Nick's genuine LW5 vl turbo Berlina First on the list was a brand new 6boost T3 turbo manifold, Turbosmart 50mm wastegate and a fresh Chra core in the Garrett - Advancing Motion GT3582 to give a new life to the hot side, we added one of our undercar surge tanks,Turbosmart Fpr fuel reg and gave the rest of the fuel system a birthday with a full clean out, new hoses, fittings and and a Speedflow Australia billet fuel filter. Once all up and running again it was time to bolt on to our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers Pro Hub dyno for a full tune on the Microtech EFI LT10 ecu, power was right on target with just over 300kw at the hubs on 16psi and pump 98 fuel
16.01.2022 Sam's VL turbo SL in for a service/check over and a full dyno re-tune on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers pro hub, running a catalogue of the normal vl bolt ons including a Link ECU Atom ecu, 6boost T4 manifold and Precision Turbo & Engine 6262 Gen2, end results were right point making 640rwhp on 25psi on United E85 and manual transmission
15.01.2022 Chris's extremely tidy genuine A9Y Calais wagon finished up this week After fitting a fresh fuel system including Bosch 044 fuel pump, custom under surge tank, Turbosmart Fpr800 fuel reg, Bosch 1000cc injectors, Link ECU G4 +plug in ecu board and a JWST cam and valve spring package Results were right on request making just over 400hp at the hubs on 17psi from the low mount T3/T4 high flow and pump 98 fuel
15.01.2022 We had the pleasure of having Mark's immaculate single cam RB30 VL turbo Calais in the workshop over the last few weeks. First on the list was a new plazmaman.com race inlet manifold, fuel rail and billet 72mm throttle body with Plazma clamping system, once finished we made up in house and installed some new BMRS Brown & Miller Racing Solutions LLC crimped fuel hoses and stainless steel smooth bore turbo cooling hoses With workshop tasks finalized we performed a 100% full re-tune on the Haltech elite 2500 ecu, Marks request was "850 would be nice", and results were right on target making just over 850hp at the rear hubs using a Garrett - Advancing Motion Gtx3584R and 6boost V-band manifold on 35psi and pump E85 fuel
15.01.2022 Big ChrisO had ProVl in for a new torque converter upgrade over the last week, naturally we decided to confirm the tune on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers pro hub, considering the spool time is now halved it was also good to see a new pb in max power with 824rwhp (614rwkw) on 34psi, United E85 and controlled by a Link ECU Fury ecu
14.01.2022 Noel's 245 VG Pacer project came to completion last week after a few months in the workshop. In for a full motorsport efi wiring install (engine systems) including a Vipec I88 ecu running current Link ECU firmware, MoTeC pdm15 and rotary boost control switch, M&W cdi ignition, full motorsport concentric twisted wire harnessing with Deutsch Autosport firewall connectors. Once electronics install was completed and some minor project finishing's a full electronics calibration and dynotune was carried out on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers hub dyno, results were exactly on customers targets with a nice and streetable 560hp at the hubs on 20psi of boost and pump 98 fuel

06.01.2022 Well its certainly been a unpredictable last few months around the world, but one thing we can guarantee is the power of our single cam RB30 cylinder heads. Most know we have been involved with the development and tuning of "Victor Jet's" Jet30R vl calais turbo over the last few years and it has been success since day one, with multiple pbs set including the first 7 second 1/4 mile pass for the team and the history making, the first 4 second 1/8th mile pass ever on a 235 drag... radial tyre in Australia. In late 2019 we had a call from Vic "We need to do something" was the opening sentence, a plan was put together which included a brand new cylinder head package and the assistance of preparation of required short block components so Vic could get the assembly process under way at his "head quarters" in Sydney We implemented the same weld strengthening process to a selected 30 plus year old Nissan casting, preparation included our house insert and guide installation, specially developed cnc seat job, full custom race "hand" porting and chamber preparation, valve, valve spring and component selection and precision assembly. With only a few days to complete the full final assembly and prepare the car, after the decision was made to enter and test at Kenda 660, the track results where immediate!!! with a gain of over a tenth and a half in ET and 4 mph at the 1/8th, a new pb of 1.183, [email protected] with the new cylinder head package installed. Again, we would like to thank Vic, Jenny and the whole Jet30R team for the opportunity to once again push the boundaries of the RB30 single cam platform, and for all the number crunchers out there, yes its still a cast RB30 block, stock crank 3 litre on ethanol fuel. 05.01.2022 We have had the pleasure over the weekend to help good friend Matty's tune his twin turbo small block chevy Datsun Bluebird on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers hub dyno. Using a Link ECU Thunder ecu and simulating a full mid 4 second drag runs we were able to calibrate full boost control tables ready for racing in 2 weeks time Final figures were right on target at 2400hp at the hubs, certainly a very tuff combination when still using the older twin Gtx Garrett - Advancing Motion 76mm turbos !!!

02.01.2022 Donald finally got to pick his clean RB2630 VL Calais turbo up this week after a all round birthday over the last few months. On the list of tasks was a full re-vamp on the fuel system including new plazmaman.com fuel rail, 1100cc Bosch injectors and twin 044 pumps, Turbosmart FPR1200 fuel reg, Speedflow hoses and a custom undercar surge tank. One of our Link ECU Fury efi packages was also on the list, along with renewed heavy duty fuel pump and fan wiring A new 3.5" exhaust,... custom catch can and hoses and bunch of general repair jobs also were completed to get ready for a full tune up on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers hub dyno Results was a over 200hp gain at the hubs from arrival at the workshop and right on our Donny's request of 500hp at the hubs on 15psi See more
