22.05.2022 What an amazing weekend in Canberra for the ACT Showjumping Cup! Watch to the end for a bit of a laugh TM had some fantastic results:... Brenin (TM For Your Eyes Only) jumped super all weekend with some great rounds in the 105cm and 110cm on Saturday and then topped it off with a 4th place in the 115-120cm JNSW Amateur Series class in a strong field and very competitive jump off! So proud of my baby being so comfortable with a step up Ruby and her pony Alcheringa Brychan aka Moose (Brenin’s smaller uncle!) had their first ever show and Ruby even came away with an incredible win in the X-rails class! What a super result and what a way to start her jumping career. We are very proud of Ruby and she has worked very hard on her riding so it was exciting to see it pay off Last, but definitely not least, Gen and her gorgeous boy Kuda were stars of the show It was also their first show and they came away with 4/4 clear rounds! We are so proud of how far they have come as a combination so quickly, well done Gen. You and Kuda looked like seasoned pros out there and you made it look easy! You were a pleasure to watch and be around all weekend I was lucky enough to catch a ride on Ruby’s pony Moose in the 90cm and managed to pick up a 4th place (and had loads of fun whilst doing it ) - thanks Ruby! TM are proudly sponsored by TuffRock Australia and we couldn’t have got to Canberra without our poultice! Tuffrock poultice really helped Brenin recover from Gundagai to back it up with some amazing jumping this weekend and Moose had an injury in the paddock leading up to Canberra but was as good as gold thanks to regular poulticing! I’m looking for a horse between 1...4.2 - 16.2 hands and over 10 years old. A safe and reliable schoolmaster that has experience in showjumping and pony club as well as trails and fit to compete.Must be good at floating, shoeing etc. Preferably around 10k and a gelding. Scotty is a very quick learner and has shown great potential in Showjumping however he would be very suited to Eventing, with his bold yet careful attitude and lovely flat work. Easy to C/S/F Scotty is a dream to have around and is a very cuddly boy. Scotty has placed in every show he has ever been to and is a con...sistent clear round horse. He is also fantastic in jump offs and great with spooky jumps. Has done cross country training where his bold attitude and stamina shines through. Scotty is not a hot TB and is a very easy ride making him a great project horse for a junior/young rider/amateur to bring on. Experienced, knowledge home only. It's all a process. Some days you win and some days you learn! I have found that the more you have fun, the more success you make. Being overly critical of yourself or your horse generally works against you. Always find the good in everything first. Whether you are the rider, trainer, sponsor or parent be positive, be supportive. No one tries to do poorly! SO many riders beat themselves up and are critical of themselves. They don't need help at that! Focus on the positive and you will see much more positive results! Try it and see what happens!!! #tuesdaytip #rjm See more

02.01.2022 It’s absolutely mind boggling if you think about it. Your horse gets absolutely nothing out of being competitive for you. Not a darn thing. Of course horses ar...e bred for specific jobs, or they’re bred to be athletic to a certain degree. However, horses don’t wake up thinking about chasing cans, or cows, or flying over jumps. They have no idea how much money is added to the pot. They have no idea that this is a qualifier. They have no idea that this is the short go. And DESPITE us... DESPITE our nerves, our flaws, our incorrect ques, our huge emotions, they get the job done to their very best ability. Even when we fail them by letting our emotions get in the way, they come back and they try again. For US. Whoa. Let that sink in. If only we could all be so understanding. To think of an animal that is forgiving and flexible enough to put up with the repetition of practice, the intense nerves of the rider, the stress of hauling and still meet you at the gate for scratches is MIND. BLOWING. If you haven’t done so lately. Thank your horse. If you’re successful, thank the horses that put you there and made you. Thank the horses that gave everything they had for you simply because you ASKED them to. If you’re still on the journey to success, thank the horses that made you fall in love with your sport and who have helped give you the confidence to want to learn more and be better. We can never stop learning as horsemen and horsewomen, and by continuing our education every horse in our future will be better off.
