25.01.2022 Rob is currently in South Africa with Tecnu Extreme Adventure Racing for Expedition Africa which starts in 11 hours from Port Edward. The race site has GPS tracking and expect plenty of great photos. Get on the website and check out the news and well have plenty of good stories in 3.5-4days. www.kineticgear.org

17.01.2022 Its not to late to enter this weekends Adventure Junkie X-marathon at Eildon. This race has had the best course and drawn the strongest field in the country for the last two years. 15.01.2022 Well just when you thought Team Seagate were more machine than human, they have been forced to withdraw from the Costa Rica Adventure Race. Tough luck for the team but congrats to Thule Adventure Team and Columbia Vidaraid Adventure Team who are closing in on the finish line after more than 140hours of racing.

05.01.2022 TEAM PROFILE 2014 - SHOTZ MOUNTAIN DESIGNS GEOQUEST The undoubted champions of the Mountain Designs GeoQuest, and likely the most successful adventure racing te...am ever in Australia, will be back to defend their title at Australias premier adventure race in 2014. Formerly called team Macpac, the core of this team has worn the coveted Number 1 jersey for an incredible 5 Mountain Designs GeoQuest races over the years. Damon Goerke is arguably the most experienced and successful elite adventure racer in the county, winning his first Mountain Designs GeoQuest in 2002. While he has a long list of impressive victories in adventure racing, as well as incredible results and feats of endurance in other adventure sports, this may not be readily apparent when talking to him. His characteristic nonchalance and dry sense of humor can easily fool you. For example when I asked his goal for this years race, he responded with how he loves the 30hr round trip driving to/from the event and to have to a fun weekend with mates in a new area, then pig out at every fast food restaurant on the way home. Maybe this attitude really is the secret to success? Having watched the success of this team over the years it is clear that they are the complete package. There is no chink in their armor and are strong in every aspect of adventure racing. They are exception navigators and tough terrain only makes them go faster. They look after team mates like they are family and are always quick with a joke on the course. They dont know the meaning of sleep deprivation and have probably never worn out a set of brake pads! The big question though in everyones mind is, how will Australias best team go against New Zealands best team??? It is certainly going to be an exciting race this year!!!
