Due to the current global situation we have had to relocate The Players Lounge in West HQ. Sad news I know but hopefully just a temporary solution during these times. ... We are working closely with the team at West HQ to secure the new location in venue and are in talks regarding our recommencement date. 12.01.2022 ***CORONA VIRUS UPDATE*** I know there’s a heap of speculation going around about who’s running poker and why we aren’t, I’m about to confirm the exact reason. Unfortunately it turns out what Lennie and I (Dave) predicted has come true.... Our venues have shared the same hesitation about restarting as we have had however today it has all come true. As stated here, venues that are running poker have been issued with infringement notices. Lennie and I remain solid that your health, our health and our venues health/wellbeing are paramount in whatever we do so in light of all this we hope you respect the sacrifices we have made. We miss you all dearly

We have dropped all competition and have communicated with both WPT and NPL to come together for the better of your health and safety.... NSW police have now confirmed POKER to be a breach in Covid -19 restrictions at this stage. As promised, we only have your best interests at heart thus the transparency. 06.01.2022 ***NOT LONG TO GO NOW*** Hey guys just a quick update to let you know when we will be returning. After many talks with our venues we have opted to wait just a little longer to get further clarity on regulations and any chance of a second wave.... We understand others are running and we wish them well, however it is the belief of our venues and I that it is better to be safe than sorry as we watch our Victorian colleagues suffer yet another shut down. We miss you greatly and are ready to go but in the meantime, support your local venue and get them back up and running.
